Many years ago I did some pretty bad things. I never denied or or minimize what I did. If I could go back in time an undo all the damage, I would, but it doesn’t work that way. I plead guilty and took what the Judge handed me. I served 12 years. I spent that time - and since, getting myself right. In that 12 years I’ve seen a LOT. - and a lot of cocky idiots like this. Far too many ❗️ Many Cary a grudge with them their whole lives - “ it’s everyone else’s fault. (( I’m a successful business owner, run a ministry, and paid off my Mortgage)) - I’ve come too far to go back now. All my addictions have long since been broken. What gets me, is the utter selfishness- and they cannot see it in themselves. 📻😐

One of my all time favorites is still "Court Cam: Woman Curses At Judge." Such a classic! It also doesn't make me angry. The ones you watch often do make me a little angry. (I have basically the same reaction as you do.) About half the criminals are smug, arrogant, and basically laughing at the victims' pain. They're usually young men who think theyc +qqq're hard and probably kinda look forward to prison. At least you know that once they actually get to prison, reality is going to Punch them in the face (frequently quite literally) pretty quickly. The truly "tough guys" don't act like that period they don't need to, and they know better. The other half are overly upset and self pitying. They're really sorry... that they got caught, not that they did it. They're embarasses/upset that the horrible things they did are being shared with the world. Frequently for one of the 1st times in their lives they are being held accountable for their terrible actions. They are used to getting away with awful stuff Suddenly they are publicly confronted them with awful actions like torturing/killing their own children children, etc. I have zero sympathy for them. When they start loudly crying and carrying on it makes me mad. I'd be a terrible judge because I'd be tempted to add time or something when people act like that. And you know it's mostly just a public show. It's like a toddler's tantrum. The truly contrite are quietly crying but accept their (well-deserved) fate like adults. Then there's the woman who was convicted of having a hitman kill her husband, and just kept claiming she was innocent. I also don't believe her at all. She's like a psychopath nor narcissist, just saying what she knows she should, but getting it wrong because she has no understanding of normal human emxc'xotions. If she were truly innocent she would be much more upset. (even after months to adjust and accept her conviction.. She seemed almost flippant. She thought looking at the victim's family would make her more believable and sympathetic. But she looked at them so quickly and never even tried to make eye contact. It felt more like she was just reveling in being the center of attention and constantly had to make sure all eyes were still on her. It never seemed serious or sincere and she never said anything profound or heartfelt, just kept repeating her very basic statements. And it passes me off (and many other people) off⁷ when the perpetrators horrible crime try to portra themselves as one of the victims. "Boohoo, I lost my husband and my freedom! My life is ruined now. I promise I didn't do it!"

The one from Tucson where the wife hired the hit man: The dead husband's car was blown up in a parking lot when he turned on the ignition. This was SOME hit. Took years to come to trial. I think the Def fled to Europe and took a while to apprehend if I remember correctly. The road rage woman is infuriating! For the people who get short sentences and get out and if they have the potential of still going on with their lives and becoming something, first thing I would do is file a civil suit against the person for as much as you can. It won’t bring back the person you lost but you you can royally mess up the other person‘s life. Any court judgment can go on the credit record. So if that lady serves six years and gets out she won’t be able to get credit for a car for a Home or any other type of loan because a judgment will be on her credit. Over the years there were a couple cases back home where I lived where the people did that. They knew they weren’t get the money but at least to get the judgment put on their credit sort message them up until that’s paid off. They did that because it was the only way they felt they could get more satisfaction when the person got a short sentence. The money isn’t the point. But it’s one of the best ways to mess up the other person’s life.

But Waco, Tx has some insane crimes, they just aren't as big as places like Dallas and Houston so they don't get talked about as much and Baylor University overshadows everything with the town and now so does Chip and Joanne Gaines from Magnolia. It's a really weird, unique, crazy, but exciting town to visit if you get the chance, they also have the Dr. Pepper Museum and a Mammoth site

You're right about all of them but that last one is the perfect example of the huge problem with our American justice system. There are people who've spent decades in prison for very small amounts of weed, for personal use only. Yet she gets 6 measly years for purposely murdering a man. The biggest problem is that laws vary from state to state. In that state she got 6 years, in another she could have gotten double, in another she could have gotten life. I think that a lot of laws and subsequent sentencing should be uniform across the entire country and any case involving murder is definitely the biggest one.
