12:25 One of the first things that dictators do is disarm everyone that's not with them, which makes controlling their lives much easier. It takes quite a bit of effort to get that ball rolling and overcome that control. The people far out number those in charge, but individually or in small groups, it's one-sided.
@MacTX9 күн бұрын
The said truth is, it takes a lot of effort to get that ball rolling and when the opponent (the oppressive regime) has such an advantage the threshold is far in the distance. So far out there that most people just won't bother trying. They go along with it to not be singled out and punished or killed.

It is amazing how the history has shown that when the government take away the peoples' guns the leaders become tyrants and the democrats want to disarm the US. No, never.

Seeing Syria bombed out the way it is really makes me feel so sorry for its people. Bashar al-Assad has left Syria, and has gone to Russia. I can’t say I’m sorry, because he really was a monstrous dictator. However, Syrians won’t fare any better with the rebel factions fighting each other for power. In fact, I feel sad for all of the countries on this list. It’s the government that is horrid, not necessarily the citizenry. I’ve been saying for decades that our nation’s inequity is not sustainable. Cost of living keeps going up, pay stays stagnant, and the wealthy keep dining on their caviar in front of everyone. We’re feeling some of the rage already. The world is a mess right now. Thanks for the reaction, Kabir.

There are so many countries that are dangerous for Americans, and westerners alike. They do seem to go after Americans more though. It did upset me, until I came to realize that we have so much to see here in our own nation, that we can have a fantastic time here. No passport needed. 😊

Interest on the US national debt just surpassed $1 trillion. This is larger than the military budget. We've long since passed the point where the debt can be paid off. We simply issue new debt to paper over the old debt. At some point, perhaps soon, there'll be a sell-off in US treasuries as the world will refuse to continue financing our madness. Interest rates will jump to the moon, the USDollar will crash and US global hegemony will end. Unfortunately, our leaders are criminally insane. If they can't control the world then they'll plunge the world into war that'll probably kill us all.
@shelaughs1859 күн бұрын
Oooh, a ray of sunshine. It's a strange twist that other countries need our dollar to be strong because we pay them with it in the form of "economic help." We hand it out to countries like Ukraine as if it were Halloween candy. We left millions of it in Afghanistan like it's a $5 I left in my winter coat last year. I'm looking forward to having some businessmen at the helm again.

YES you are right, it "SHOULD" spark an uprising, the problem with that is that years before he "NATIONALIZED" the oil companies, and basically confiscated the engine driving the Venezuelan economy and rest of the country, he FIRST and foremost made all civilian owned firearms "ILLEGAL", then asked for the citizens to surrender them to the police, and then forcibly confiscated the rest from those who refused to surrender their firearms, in many cases killing them in the process, ONCE that was done, an uprising was out of the question. this is the untold dangers of "GUN CONTROL" it truly has nothing to do with crime control or safety, it is about "CONTROL" period, Maduro was NOT the first to do this in history, and every time it has been done, disaster follows closely behind, for example, Russia 1918, Japan 1920, Germany 1935, Italy 1936, China 1937, North Korea 1947, Vietnam 1959, Cuba, 1959, Cambodia 1959, Laos 1959, Iran 1979, Venezuela 2002. "GUN CONTROL" has caused 2 world wars and more than 250,000,000 deaths worldwide in less than 100 years. but they ALWAYS outlaw firearms first, then collect them next, and then NO ONE, even those who are willing to stand against the evil intentions that are coming next, no longer have the tools to do so. Remember the United States only exists TODAY because King George tried to take the colonists firearms away from them starting on April 16th of 1775, but they decided to fight the Revolutionary war and kicked the British Empire out of North America because we refused to give up our firearms! I DO NOT think that Muduro will end up in handcuffs, I think it is more likely that he will end up like Benito Mussolini did in Italy, when the coup happens, they are more likely to hang him on the spot. that was Kim Jong Un's grandfather that they believed did not have to use the bathroom because his body was so efficient that it did not generate waste. I do not think they are trying to spread that about him now, but I could be wrong. That is NO EXCUSE, the phrase "I WAS JUST FOLLOWING ORDERS" has been used MANY MANY times throughout history to justify atrocities of various levels, remember what happened the the NAZI leadership who said "I was just following orders" during the Nuremberg trials, they were hung with all the rest! following orders of something that you KNOW in your heart to be wrong, will not get any sympathy by a judge or court when you get caught!

The problem with overthrowing your dictator is that no one ever has a plan for what comes after. You might be starving but the dictator keeps order. Now imagine starving AND getting shot at everytime you step outside because of the chaos and gang wars. I know because my country overthrew a dictator in the 90s and it's been chaos and death since.

If the narrator had started the description of Russia without saying who it was I would have said it was the US in the last four years. If we can manage to get this on the right track we were going before Covid and the people don't elect leftist idiots who are set on turning us into a socialist country, we will bounce back. If we vote another Biden into the office, #1 the US would be right along with Russia.

Ironically, those of us who watched Biden destroy the country over the last four years and invite the Third World to invade us can't understand how you people who are not supporting Trump (who had things going great before Covid) think he is the problem. One man who has offered solutions that were working before Covid and had only been in politics for a few years vs allowing the same criminals who've spent decades in politics destroying the country to continue having the same power. Doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result is insanity. Please join us in the sane world.
