A male lion is extremely aggressive to cubs not of his genepool. When a new male takes over a pride, they kill all the cubs that are not his. Lionesses are extremely powerful but they are no match in a solo battle with a male lion. Luckily, males won't likely directly fight a lionesse who is defending cubs as it is too much of an energy drain, however they will snatch a defenseless cub with no remorse. Lionesses are always on the defense when attacking to defend the cubs and will quickly retreat and evacuate the area with the cubs to stay safe.

The potential hazard with having wind turbines too close to homes is in the rare event of a catastrophic failure they can fling the blades through the air a lot further than you would think and the things are huge. It is hard to appreciate the scale unless you see pictures of the blades being transported via trucks on the way to be installed. If they ever built one too close to homes and had a worst case scenario it could flatten a normal house and possibly even knock down an apartment complex.

lots people live off grid so it down to them to cut trees down, plus they tend to cut trees down for firewood for winter. cut a wedge in direction you want it to travel, cut back and use wedges to help it go where you want. but also depends on how many branches on one side to other and if tree got lean. seen vids people even using cables to help direct fall on more dangerous high risk trees. better planing, would minimized damage like guild lines as a backup as tree so close to property. at least it did not take out fire place or they be in real trouble in winter

glacier rivers of ice, When enough snow accumulates, its weight causes it to compact until it eventually turns into ice. When they get big enough, the glaciers will flow downhill. Montana Glacier National Park - Montana. Officials at Glacier National Park (GNP) have begun quietly removing and altering signs and government literature which told visitors that the Park’s glaciers were all expected to disappear by either 2020 or 2030. most famous glaciers such as the Grinnell Glacier and the Jackson Glacier appear to have been growing-not shrinking-since about 2010. (The Jackson Glacier-easily seen from the Going-To-The-Sun Highway-may have grown as much as 25% or more over the past decade.) But at some point during this past winter (as the visitor center was closed to the public), workers replaced the diorama’s ‘gone by 2020’ engraving with a new sign indicating the glaciers will disappear in “future generations.” another prediction fails.

Don't be fooled in to the green con. all green energy always needs a reliable energy on standby so doubling cost, having a gas turbine energy plant on standby as wind dose not always blow strong enough or too strong then the reliable energy on standby comes in to play, firing up and down is not most efficient way for coal-fired or natural gas turbine. also do you like your tax being wasted like Two huge new offshore windfarms received nearly half of the £227million paid out to operators last year to switch off when it was too windy due to capacity issues with the grid. Turbine operators receive £65000 to stop powering homes on Tuesday amid concerns over Britain's strained energy supply. National Grid forked out £82m to operators of wind farms last month, Electricity customers have paid windfarm operators £1bn to switch off turbines, STV can reveal. The cost of turning off UK wind farms to manage the electricity system rose from almost £300m during 2020 to over £500m in 2021 it is theft from our tax

The big issue with offshore wind turbines is that they vibrate and thus fill the ovean with sound waves that may be intolerable to sea life (like whales) that are sensitive to them. And since they have been building and installing these turbines there actually have been a rash of whales beacbing themselves and most notably on the US northeast coast where many have been installed. So all the liberal save-the-whales politicians are now faced with a dilemma. Do they call for a moratorium on installing offshore wind turbines until they can fully understand their detrimental effects? Or do they ignore the problem so as to appease all the green energy companies who profit from the turbine building contracts and show their appreciation for receiving them by putting tons of money into leftwing re-election campaigns? Response: Goodbye whales and goodbye advertizing and internet platforming to any news sources reporting on their hypocrisy.

The turbines are awful to live near. They are the ultimate NIMBY structure. They are loud, interfere with signals, and are unsightly. On top of that it takes tens of thousands of them to generate enough energy to power a single metropolis. I live near a decent sized wind farm. I used to be able to see the southern most units from the main road outside of my neighborhood. It was 15 miles away. 414 turbines spread over 3 counties generates a paltry 800 megawatts (in theory). In reality it's lucky to keep at 40 percent of that capacity and only reliably can claim 250k homes powered, not enough to handle the nearest small urban area once factories are added in. In comparison the two nuclear reactors at LaSalle IL generate 2.3 gigawatts and it actually can deliver that. That accounts for 2.3 million homes, a huge chunk of Chicago's power needs.

I live in Ma and any time I have looked into having tree work done the average is like $4-6K per tree. Idk where they got their price estimates from for this video but they are way off, tree work, specially full tree removal, is insanely expensive. My mom wants me to take down a huge half dead tree next to our house, I'm not stupid though, I know what I can do myself and what I can't. I know how to fell trees and have done other tree work on the property, there is a dead tree by the back porch I'm going to take down by myself once I get the gear I need but I would never mess with a proper big tree without multiple people to help and all the proper tools and equipment to secure the tree. Even with guide and tension lines in place a tree could still fall wrong. PS incase anyone was wondering it's a really really bad idea to use a chainsaw while on a ladder, I lived to tell the tale but damn if that wasn't the scariest thing I've ever done. Honestly it didn't really hit me until a few years later just how unbelievably stupid that was. Sometimes though you just have no choice other than to take care of things yourself so you do the best you can with what you have. I was very lucky. Never again.
