The good bbq joint in Florida especially central Florida is 4 rivers. It’s a chain that has expanded north already but because they tend to build restaurants from lots it’s a heck of a lot nicer. They also have a attached desert shop which is locally supplied by a few different bakeries. Just be kinda careful as a few of the workers can be kinda preachy. Order the brisket there as you can’t really go wrong with it.

Runza, Nebraska. Chili and cinnamon rolls are a statewide expectation. Nebraska kids all grow up with that combo in school lunches. Runza was able to purchase a “secret” cinnamon roll recipe from a now defunct tea room in Lincoln. During January and February Tuesdays, whatever the temperature at 6 am is, that’s the price of a Runza when you pay regular price for a drink and fries. Since the weather can be 0° F or lower, the Runzas are often free or perhaps 5 cents. Temperature Tuesdays are great to get a cheap lunch. The other extra is Frings - fries with about 5 onion rings combined. They have the best fast food fries ever!

In n Out isn't the best burger in the state of California, but it is a good fast food burger. Fresh, cooked to order beef with ingredients well preportioned. The vegetables are always fresh and provide a good crunch. If you like thousand island type burger sauce their sauce is very addicting. Their fries aren't the best, but can be smothered in cheese, onion and sauce to taste better. I think a big reason in n out is so popular in states it is in, is it's tasty but it's also cheappp. Combo meals cost less than McDonald's and the service is quicker and often better.

At IN-N-OUT the fries are made from potatoes multiple times a day and their beef is delivered fresh not frozen daily. Their menu is small only offering burgers, sodas, shakes and fries. Wait times can be a hour or more on a late Friday or Saturday night.

What makes In-n-Out and Whataburger great is that they have local beef suppliers. They want to be able to deliver fresh, never frozen beef to the restaurants every morning. That’s why they only stay in those select few areas.

I've only had In N Out once. I've had Whataburger twice. (I live in Michigan so neither are anywhere near me). The In N Out I got was complete garbage. I'd try it again because there's no way what I experienced is what everyone hypes up. Whataburger is amazing and after having it once in TX, I made sure we stopped at a location in New Mexico when were were driving cross country a couple years later. So in my limited experience, Whataburger is far better than In N Out. Whataburger's easily in my top 3 fast food burgers and possibly number 1. If that In N Out I had is anywhere near normal, they're in the bottom half and I've tried a lot of fast food locations in my life.

In-N-Out is not great, at all. I'm starting to think that the chain pays all these video list creators to rank it at the top. They used to be decent, but now they're just piles of grease. If you come to California, go to The Habit instead. Their Portabella Char is gorgeous. (But ask for light mayo, because at least in my local place, they go a little crazy with the mayo.)

In-n-Out burgers are delicious! They come to you perfectly joined…warm toasted bun, yummy beef burger, fresh veggies. In-n-Out offers your food as inside-dining, take out, and uniquely eat in the car presentation. Price is very reasonable. Whataburger is pure love. My favorite is their pattymelt. Huge slices of Texas toast loaded with large hamburger, cheese, and fried onions. Comfort food. It is such a large burger that I get burger juice and onions on each side of my face as I am eating it! Favorite? Has to be Whataburger….withbfresh onion rings!

I lived in LA, CA for 7 years. I wasn't impressed with In-N-Out burgers. To be honest, I've had What-a-Burger, as well, and wasn't impressed with them, either. I'll always recommend local eateries, not the chains.😊 Those round little potato cakes are called 'tater tots' and are delicious. The first time I ever had In-N-Out was 10 years ago in LA, and it was no great shakes. The idea that the expansion of the franchise into other states has turned a once outstanding burger into an also-ran is frankly just bullshit. I say this acknowledging that even our beloved Whataburger is pedestrian compared to even an average medium patty bar burger cooked medium. Basically there's just a lot of broke people with kids getting all their burgers through a drive-thru that are driving up the demand for thin-patty burgers, but it's not a real comparison. Thick patty burgers are king, fuck the thin patty chains.
@ms_scribbles3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I am getting tired of these lists naming In-N-Out as our best food joint. The burgers are greasy and the fries are soggy. Plus, now it's been revealed that they don't really care about the health and safety of either their employees or their customers. We have so many FAR better restaurant chains around here. Roscoe's, El Torito, Del Taco, The Habit, etc. And that's just the chains, like they're listing in this video.

As a lifelong Minnesotan...I've literally never hard of or seen a MyBurger. I can tell they just googled and picked the top rankings on Yelp. If you want to know what our ACTUAL best restaurants are, they're probably: - Punch Pizza is a small chain of Italian-style pizzas made in a woodfire oven, and covered in traditional ingredients - Dairy Queen is international now, but started here as a series of seasonal ice-cream stands. Many locations in Minnesota still close in November and open up against in April. - Famous Dave's is a now national chain of BBQ places, along with other products, but started here in the early 90s. - LeeAnn Chin's is a Minnesota-only fast-casual chain of Asian fusion restaurants founded by the titular Chinese immigrant in the 70s, starting as a single chain before selling off and expanding. - Matt's Bar is the original home of the Jucy Lucy, and everyone in Minnesota needs to try it at least once

Famous Dave’s is originally from Hayward, Wisconsin started in 1994. Dairy Queen started in 1940 in Joliet, Illinois. Both are currently headquartered in Minnesota.
