In Britain people lived in duplex homes 100-150 years ago with a back garden, when half of the world was living on streets. So they are quite advanced and they know climate change is real and how it can impact human life. That is why there is a surge in electric cars in UK. Again half of the world is sleeping when it comes to climate change, green house gasses, electric cars etc.

There runway melted at 40 C, in India our runways has been running for years even though temp goes above 45 C in summer
@matthowells63822 жыл бұрын
Because runways in India are expected to operate in those temps all the time lmao, UK has never got this hot before. Their infrastructure is suited to colder temps, do you Indians really think you construct better infrastructure than the British??? Lmao 🤣

We should stop comparing us to those in Europe. their climate is totally different in experiencing such Temp. Stop such ignorant Comments. also i don't think more than 1000 people die in india due to heat wave, so stop comparing.

Runway melted. They should have it used better materials. It's common in india to reach 45+ degree celcius for 1-2 months in many cities. But we never hear runway melted. I can understand homes are designed for cold so in moderate heat they become furnace. But Runway is outdoor installation. They should have used a material which can withstand extreme heat or cold aswell.
