UK watcher here. 48% of us voted against Brexit in 2016, and a good proportion of those who voted for it have now died, since they were older. Russia were heavily involved - check out the work of Carole Cadwalladr on here. Many of us gave up trusting the BBC for unbiased news many years ago. Channel 4 is more reliable. Many of us don't hate Harry and/or Meagan - that's just how the right wing media paints it. We are not dismissive of real issues because we're obsessed with the Royals - on the contrary, many of us are bored to tears by them. I admire your work, Whimsy, but sometimes the way you talk about Britain and the British has me wondering if I'm living in the same country you're speaking about. Stephanie, Brexit relates to the current situation in G.B., because the EU was formed to both benefit member countries by giving them more bargaining power _and_ to uphold a strict set of rules of transparency for mutual trust. Imagine going from a single proprietorship business, to a corporation. As a proprietor, the owner can run the show and is liable to no one but basic taxation (and any employees to pay). _But,_ if they incorporate, they are subject to reviews by investors, the S.E.C. and even the general public. Brexit allowed Britain to escape the rules and regulations of the EU. No more reviews- no more mandatory transparency. They basically said "we will run the show ourselves". A very good position for the people with something to hide🙏🏼.

He had just discovered his wife (Guinevere's) affair with his best friend, and he knew he had to publically punish them- but didn't want to. A very poignant moment!
