I disagree with you TOPE . I trained as a nurse and worked in the private health sector in Nigeria. It was slavery. Touching people’s lives should also be rewarded. It broke my heart to travel to UK. Worked as Health care assistant for a year whilst waiting to get my license. Wiped bottoms and wounds in Nigeria for peanuts but did it in UK for a good living wage. Today I am a senior midwifery lecturer with my Bsc , Masters and PhD fully paid by the NHS. Today I can care for my family by supporting my husband comfortably with real estate in Nigeria Uk and US. Sorry as long as Nigeria doesn’t care we will continue to wipe bottom to get to the top. Our eyes are open.

@kasikwagoma67402 ай бұрын
@faroukoyekanmi2642, you know I came to the conclusion that we black Africans are the most arrogant people in the world. It is only in Africa that we look down on farmers(they grow our food), we look down on plumbers(they connect our bathrooms, kitchens, we look down on carpenters who craft furniture, homes etc, we look down on cobblers(they make the shoes we wear, we look down on builders, bricklayers(they build the homes we live in), we say God forbid my child can never marry such. We only accept doctors, lawyers, engineers, architects etc. Now look at Europe America and South East Asia. They have an abundance of these hands kills and look at what they have been able to do with their countries. In Japan for example it takes 9 years to train a master knife maker , such is the attention to detail that chefs around the world buy Japanese and German knives only as the quality is just unmatched. Look at Jimmy choo shoes, they are very expensive and all are designed and made by a cobbler who was from Malaysia, look at Louis vitton that conglomerate is worth over 100 billion dollars. The founder of Louis vitton was a poor but ambitious carpenter from France. We have got to stop with the arrogance and embrace these very noble professions. A doctor can only treat the body when it is sick, but they cannot construct a railway, a bridge, a house or even the hospitals they work in.

In the 70th Nurses were looked down on by so many but, today they have become highly respected . Kemi has just reflected her Nigeria DNA ,where people are disrespected beacuse of their choice of job. Moreover, it not only Nigerians that are in social care, Indians,Europeans and other nationalities have high number of their population in care With that statement she has downgraded herself for the contest. There are British that also care given. I'm sure Kemi in her old age will not have access to care giver for support. There are British who are road sweeper and Estate cleaners. What matter in the west is what can pay your bills . Kemi has justified the attitude and behaviour civil servants who worked with her accused her of. They said ,she lacks respect and with high level of arrogance. Her statement is true display of arrogance.

I agree with your point. Often, the ladies on The View seem to comment without fully educating themselves on the facts. Additionally, Kemi, like many migrants who rise to positions of power, appears to look down on other migrants, trying to limit opportunities for others to come to the UK. This is similar to what others, such as Priti Patel and others, have done-they condemn and demonize migrants once they’ve secured their own status, which is quite troubling. .
