One of the theories is about a journey, a spiritual journey. "The Avenue" connects Stonehenge with the site of "Wood Henge". Where Wood Henge was symbolic of the Living World and Stonehenge was symbolic of the World of the Dead.

I've got a theory about silbury hill. If you're farming, preparing the soil for a crop, as you dig you remove the stones and stick them in the corner of your field. Say your dad did it and so you do, well you can't grow a crop on this pile of rocks so every generation after just keeps piling their waste on and eventually it becomes a thing?
