@theinngu5560 I work for a university. Only masters students can bring family and only then it's a spouse and children. Other family only if they can demonstrate that they rely on them for care, which is extremely rare and I've never seen it. Most do leave the UK and go back home. They don't receive any benefits and literally says on their visa "no recourse to public funds". They go in to the rental market like anyone else, they don't get cars, they don't get phones, they don't get free meds, utilities or money. They get NHS treatment free like anyone else, including tourists. But that's only for emergencies. Ongoing treatment they need insurance for and on top of that, they pay a several hundred pounds health surcharge to fund the NHS, whether they use it or not. The boats should be stopped and I want immigration under control, but let's not peddle blatant lies.
@Unclemaths
@Unclemaths 12 күн бұрын
@@theinngu5560 They can only bring family if they have sufficent funding. . Student and dependents are not entitled to any benefits. It is clearly written on their Visa. Every student pays for NHS subcharge while applying for Visa. They are young and less likely to use NHS. They pay NI if they are allowed to work max. of 20 hours a week. Majority of them return or go into higher education like Masters and Phd.

There are two categories of jobs immigrants are doing. 1. Jobs that Natives don’t want to do 2. Jobs that are in shortage for skilled employees. These are the people who even have a tiny bit chance to get an ILR. But Infact, the UK economy needs both these people. It is a fact that too many depends are coming with a lot of people. But it could be navigated through a minor evaluation to check whether the person is fit to work in this economy. And most importantly, watch out all the trash talk on international students, it might make even the brightest students not want to come to the UK anymore.

Overpopulation via mass migration ruins the economy (too many people chasing too few resources) and the environment. After the Great Plague, when Europe's population decreased by 1/3, living standards for the poor increased and workers were able to organize via trade unions for the first time. If Britain's total population were comprised of only 10 million Brits who stand for Democracy, each one of the 10 million could enjoy a very high standard of living and a clean/pristine environment with no pollution whatsoever.

The graduate visa is just for 2 or 3 years max and cant be renewed, so after this period, the visa holder must leave the country if they can't secure a job that matches their skillset, education level and the required salary for any sponsored skilled workers visa. The graduate visa holders aren't eligible for public funds.

the unis will still make money if the students come and genuinely study. after they graduate the unis no longer make any money, so the unis are being foolish. or...is it that the uni know they are setting up bogus cash cows courses for people who are not genuine students to make money. we know that some are dropping out to work in social care etc, and the unis don't even do proper auditing of attendence. the whole idea that unis will collapse is a joke, since the uni chancellors are paying themselves way beyond their values. international students wasn't an issue 10, 20, 30 years ago, when i went, so numbers of genuine students will not change. a cap will close the imimgration back door, and end the uni grift. there are too many of them that are not delivering quality education.

It’s easy restriction the criteria and should follow japan, the courses should be limited for international on courses, first step half the number universities , step 2 6 months before end of course year user apply for continuation , this be limited dependant of course results , students must return home in summer , after final year course end students must return home no exceptions, , the criteria for study must cover both course fees/student accommodation and food budget, The goal is to study not work , the summer return must apply zero exceptions. for those who are continuing to higher doctorates, who like previous years must show and have confirmed by university of 85% attendance, completion of course and paperwork. Max work visa limited to 25 hours study be the reason they are here to being with not for work, Uber etc must log and report hours logged in to count for limit etc short summer courses, no work visa period , 4 month courses no work visa . If the students attending are genuine they wouldn’t need to be working in that period to cover living expenses since that should be factored in course and dorm accommodation in course fees Previous years only 1 or 4 students in a class were international these limits must be applied again. If groups like and mentioned are actively targeting to breach laws should be further investigated no course should be more than 10% international students , what I find disturbing is the right to stay is being handed out, if the goal is to level up Britain it should start with its workers have first crack at the job vacancy lists if the plan is to keep graduates from abroad is the wrong solution if your a graduate from abroad you must return home at end of course

Our universities are currently in crisis because of the lack of foreign students after brexit. All of our top universities are facing massive budget deficits and are currently retrenching huge numbers of staff and restructuring to attempt to stay afloat. We are facing a silent crisis where student to staff ratios are falling well below recommended levels and the quality of our qualifications will inevitability deteriorate as a consequence. At the same time tuition fees will have to rise to cover some of the shortfall. Our children and institutions will suffer because of yet more government short-sightedness as the Tories one again play 'race politics' and wave the 'immigration boogyman' flag to distract us from their own failings! Higher education in this country is in crisis and instead of responding constructively the government is playing dangerous political games. Wealthy forigners subsidising our universities with higher tuition fees is a good thing! Highly educated, skilled and well trained young people choosing to stay here after qualifying is a net benifit to the economy on every level!

Yes. Look it up yourself, it's really not difficult.... Universities across the country are restructuring and laying off thousands of faculty members. There is a genuine crisis that is currently happening and the media and government are hiding the story. Universities won't publicise it because it makes them them look bad, and hurts student recruitment even further. My Wife is a Dr Lecturing at a top 5 University. Every member of faculty is currently reapplying for their Job and hundreds will be axed, even after calls for voluntary redundancy. The real conspiracies are far worse than the smoke and mirror ones the media distracts you with.

Britain is a nation that sells services. If we want to be prosperous, we need our great universities. Every foreign student means a lower burden on the taxpayer - and if they stay, great. They're likely to be highly productive workers.

The visa scheme to UK universities allows our country to benefit from some of the best brains in the world. We cannot grow more prosperous if all we have to rely on is the sort of people who sit at home claiming benefits and watch this channel.

Sure and every single one of them is a genius who will change the world, OR more realistically they can sign up for lesbian underwater knitting - do that for 6 months, then disappear along with their "support" families, get new identities and start working in the cash only economy or the millions of Turkish barber shops that seem to be always closed - because they are a front or laundering criminal money WAKE THE FUCK UP.

I am your sister from Yemen, and by Allah I only spoke out of hunger and distress. My mother, my brothers, and I lessons and tears. We are in a situation that only God knows about. God is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs for those who brought us to this situation. By Allah Almighty, I did not write this appeal out of distress and distress. Poverty, O world, they have felt it So, I hope for you. By Allah Almighty, Lord of the Great Throne, he ate what I had in the house. By Allah, my brothers, he is my brothers by sitting in the house. Who has no food? By God, we are in a very difficult situation. We have 4 people entering the house, and my father has died, and there is no one who can depend on us and who lives in it.We live in a rented house because we cannot pay the rent we owe. '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' ''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' ''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' ''''''''''''' My brother, my first words are: I swear to God that I will not lie to you or deceive you. I am a Yemeni girl displaced from the war. My family and I live in a rented house in Al-Shahrab 20,000 Yemenis amongs, and now we owe 60,000 for 3 months. The owner of the house is one of the people who does not have mercy, by God, my brother. He comes every day, insulting us, talking about us, and moving from the house to the street because we were unable to pay him the rent. The neighbors saw us crying and came back.They came back to talk to the neighbors and we were given the weekend. So we made him swear by God. He will take us out into the street. Have mercy on him and us. Our country is due to this war and we do not find food for our day, and my brothers and I live in a difficult life. Our father died, may God have mercy on him, and we have no one in this world who was with us in these harsh circumstances. My younger brothers went out into the street and saw...The neighbors eat and stand at their door in order to give them bread even if they break it. By God, to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, they closed the door and expelled them and came back crying. They are dying of hunger. No one has mercy on them and a holiday is returned. I have made a living, and now if us helps us with a kilo of flour, I swear to God, I am dying of hunger. My brother, I am an alien to God. Then, I ask you to help me for the sake of God. I ask you, by God, to love goodness and to help me, even if you can, by messaging me on WhatsApp.On this number 00967736246190 and ask for the name of my card and send it and do not be late and may God reward you with all the best, my brothers Sagar, see how they are and help us and save us before they throw us out in the street, you will be lost or we will die of hunger. My family and I ask you, by God, if you are able to help us, do not be late and may God reward you well..`/--~«««~~♡~♡~♡~~•~•~♡~♡~~♡~;";"!"!"?"... ...................
