Figures uncovered by Newsnight suggest a continuing rise in "out of borough" placements - teens housed in unregulated care homes, often far away from the council which placed them.

The number of teenagers sent to unregulated care homes outside their home borough has doubled since 2014 and data seen by Newsnight indicates they are set to rise further this year.
The government is set to hold a round-table meeting of care experts to discuss "best practice".
Police have raised concerns to Newsnight about the number of teenagers reported missing from these homes - in one case a child had gone missing more than 100 times.
Emily is joined by children’s minister Nadhim Zahawi.

Whenever there's a problem call a departmental meeting. No wonder each kid that goes walkabout costs thousands.

My son was given a tiny room to live in with the gas boiler for the house over his bed. There was no CO2 alarm and it was boiling in his room, he was constantly told to close the window.

there is much more coverage of these homes than is allowed to be shown in the United States. our videos are after the children are passed on or killed. we had one little two year old child. her father made a mistake telling or being honest he smoked pot after his little two year old was asleep. mother had seizures but did not have one in five years. they were few and far between it was recommended she be not alone but not mandatory . she had such few seizures to make it necessary. but since there is legalization of pot in so many states. having personal use at night time you would think to some people is like having a drink at night. but they felt her life was in terrible danger and she needed to be taken from that home. they would not allow her to be given to other family< when I say" they :I mean" the single abusive cps worker." the fact there is no screening of disordered cps workers a lot of them are child abusers knowingly he took that baby from that home and placed her in a home that he knew cps protected that worker over 17 times people complained of her being abusive to the kids. from a mother that never abused this child. then the male member of the foster home had been a felon and used crack. he smoked crack but the cps worker placed her in that home of a known child abuser and serious drug addict. you see he knew that he was taking this child from a caring loving home the man might have gotten some help if he needed it for pot but the child is in no way in danger. the cps worker knew what he was doing he knew she would. be hated beaten and hurt in that home and its shocking but people take kids from caring homes and put them into abusive homes over the amount of power that gives them. this worker also has not faced jail time nor has he been fined. when there is word out you can do whatever you want to a family you can rip a child away from any parent you want to and make up a story if you want and that the parent the police no one will do anything and the judges always side wit the workers decision and they are allowed to lie and not face jail time. they can commit any crime they want to and they dont seem to get arrested. they twist reality into things to fit the narrative they want . its completely a system meant to attract child abusers. and then they get paid. there are some people there that help but that is the minority most workers are there to flex feeling powerful and they know they can get away with taking a loved child out of a caring home and get them killed and no one will care. it happens all the time all the time . why the president is not bothered by this I cant see. the money should be stopped immediately to the system how it is a revamp it into the places the kids go have to have cameras everywhere and if the kids do nothing but speak well of the natural parent and have no evidence of being abused or harmed by the natural parent they would know someone is calling up and lying . but with the system the way it is now. so many people can come along as a trick to use the system to do their bidding. they want false allegations this is a system that is set up to support false accusations. there are very few and far between people that go to that job to help the majority want power over vulnerable and poor people that is the fact

Well said, Amen. You put it all there, clearly written in context. God bless you and the Almighty God Jehovah, shall take vengeance on all those who set out to destroy families and hurt the children. It would be better for them, if a milestone were to be hanged about their neck and they be thrown into the sea. All shall face the judgement seat of Christ and those godless greedy pigs, are going to the lake of fire for eternity, Amen. www.kingjamesbible.me/Matthew-18-6/
