It blows my mind that doctors would condone having that many pregnancies as a surrogate. Each pregnancy carries more risk for the mother and the baby, especially after you've had several term pregnancies. Her risk of severe pre eclampsia, diabetes, massive haemorrhage after birth .. truly unbelievabl. I can't help but wonder if the egg retrieval / transfers weren't done in the UK but somewhere where there are far less stringent standards (such as India or Sth America)
