When the idea of carving out a brand new circuit on the flat top of a huge mountain in Wales was first considered, everyone knew it would be fast, large and something very special.
The first ever event there was a round of the MX Nationals, and it was a scorching day off the track and on.
Conrad Mewse won the first race from his Honda team-mate Josh Gilbert, and the race order was reversed in the second moto. That gave Gillbert the overall, moved him up to second in the series while Mewse kept hold of the red plate.
With fast-starting Harri Kullas snatching two holeshots and taking two third places, it was a packed MX1 field including Ivo Monticelli, John Adamson, Stuart Edmonds and Liam Knight.
And in the MX2 class which runs alongside the big bikes, Charlie Cole, Jamie Wainwright, Carlton Husband and more slugged it out for top honours.
