I'm a trained singer, and a music teacher by profession, and sang this song as a young performer myself. I can say with absolute certainty this is the most beautifully I've ever heard this song sung. Not only is he a TRULY gifted singer, he sings with poise. With proper technique, proper breathing, proper everything. His vowels are PERFECTION, the smoothness with which he sings is truly impeccable. The amount of control it takes to sing slowly, that high.... this boy is truly a gift from God. As a trained singer, watching agt and bgt usually distresses me, but my husband loves it. I was in the bedroom when i heard Malachi's voice pouring out if the living room like an angel. Malakai is a seasoned performer. He has sung with the Royal Opera & at Christmas with Aled Jones. Look at KZbin & u can see him there. I think he’s fantastic

it is a treble voice. a chorister's voice. which should turn to a very nice tenor when his voice breaks. and it will, in a year or two..

I have severe synesthesia and when I hear him sing his high note…. the color that comes to mind isn’t white it’s every color at once, like pure sunlight. His voice feels like a deep breath of pure oxygen from the forests of the Rocky Mountains. Thank you for singing for us ❤️

I think this was actually the first time I felt spiritually moved by a performance on this show. He sang the way we all probably wish deep down in our souls we could, to express for just a moment the beauty of life, to pierce through the infinite darkness, and even to somehow touch the glory of God himself.
