He's nice and all, but Italian dubbing is nothing like he portrayed it; in fact it's so good it was an extra opportunity for Italians to not get into learning English. Homer Simpson has the same voice actor of Eddy Murphy, oddly enough, and it works better than the original. The most dramatic contrast is in Full Metal Jacket: once you get used to the Italian version of the drill sergeant, the original sounds bland and uninteresting by comparison...

This is how terrible BGT has become with scripting auditions where it plays the bad act to brilliant act card. That tesco joke was funny yet no one laughed, suspiciously dead silent. I refuse to believe no one laughed at that. There have been many jokes on this show which deserve those cringey silent reactions yet that tesco joke was actually funny. What a toxic, manipulative show BGT has become.
