Canada Post strike and hose layout help!

Been raining all day here, Ill do a video of the layout for you in the morning. I must admit I decided to alter the lengths of some of the pipes for a nicer fit.

The pipe shapes are designed to fit in indentations in the fan shroud. BTW my Land Rover fettling has improved since I got a workshop coat like yours.

Yep, that top hose looks correct, there would be a massive fan duct normally.

Just checked this morning. Your hose lay out is correct. I thought the rad hose lays on top but i was wrong.

Yeah, I was a bit confused as I have not seen one of these layouts for 7 years and was wondering if I had Discovery parts!

Looks right top rad hose is longer to avoid cowl ..cut 20mm out of it for sensor for fan ..same as mine roughly except mines disco 1 200tdi ..hoses are super tight ..bit of wd40 on finger rubbed inside works a treat ..good luck

Postal strike, I think UK Royal Mail has been on strike since Covid : )

Glad we were informed of Canada Post being on strike, or we would never have known. Striking for better pay and conditions. CP is government run so they will cave in and give them what they want, but I cannot see how conditions can improve - maybe less snow in winter?

@ I only use DHL these days, bloody expensive but so much better! R380 cost 500 quid from UK to Sweden, had to pay 200 quid extra remote charge but arrived in 4 days.

Also the 90 degree rubber hoses are a pain to get on

Thanks! They seem too long for me - I have not seen a genuine 200Tdi for years, but the original hoses seemed to be more flexible

Do you spray wd 40 to lubricant the hose? Works a charm

I just received an email this afternoon stating UPS is putting up prices by 5.5% More to come A rising tide lifts all ships!

Hi. Top rad hose goes above the intercooler pipe. I had to push the metal pipe a bit lower to let rad hose sit right. I have a 91 Defender 110 sw. Hope that helps. Greetings from the UK

My 200tdi top hose sits almost alongside the intercooler metal top pipe,
