The makeup artists were amazing on Patsy during the fantasy and post procedure scenes. Makeup properly applied can take years off a person. The post procedure was truly shocking. 'Mom' had a full career and was part of the Carry-On series.

The kind of facial peel Patsy went in for was the phenol peel, which can do damage if not handled properly. Only dermatologists are able to perform this procedure. A phenol peel remove layers of dead skin, acne scars and UV damage while promoting collagen production, but one side effect of the phenol is that it can affect heart rates, so it's not for someone with a heart condition.
