In this video we will take a look how we can use programs to remove any type of virus infection, like trojan, worm, malware, spyware, rootkit, bootkit, backdoor, with programs like Process Explorer, HijackThis, FreeFixer, Malwarebytes and HitmanPro, we will also be looking at the cacls command to stop process running.

thanks,, the "trick" is "knowing" whats an infection. some are easy as the "trojan" name showed, but theres so many processes normally that "guessing" is what is resorted to. i DO like the "installed date" feature that helps a lot. trick is; if u dont want a dirty floor, dont walk in mud thanks brian

Yeah I use permissions on hard to delete malware or hard to remove malware, by changing the permissions, it can't run lol so it can't do no harm. glad you liked it.

Britec09 I didnt know cacls existed, i bet your mate at foolish.it has a util based on it lol. I love simple utils, have you tryed Bootice?, a multi util for messing with booting configuration and bcd and other stuff :-))

This seems to be an interesting way to get rid of spyware. I just want to add that tools like Marwan Spyware Remover Extinguisher also did remove the spyware on my PC. Worth it!

Never heard of FreeFixer, looks a good bit of kit though, any chance of doing a video on WinPatrol and software like that, WinPatrol help prevent some viruses, I think this programme is a good start in help preventing virus attacks.

I really like your videos they are very helpful Have you ever thought of doing a video on third party defrag programs I have tried four different programs and they all differ on how much my hard drive is fragmented anywhere from 10% to 45% fragmented which one do I believe and which one is the best choice Thanks again for your vids

Britec09 But what parameters are used to determine fragmentation Auslogics claims 20% fragmented while IO bit claims 30% even after running each they still differ sometimes by large amounts , is this like registry cleaners where there is no real parameters

i deleted the folders it created and edited the setup in a notepad and it install correctly.. dunno what's this, but as far as i can see it, it is generated when you extract adobe

Learned this week that MBAR will run if MBAM has been disabled by malware, in fact it removed the reg entries that were blocking MBAM. So +1 for MBAR.

hey Brian I've seen that you have had amazing videos and I have been getting an error when I try to run things that says "The setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program." people have been saying its a virus and I have been seeing win 32 on my computer can you please make a video on how to fix it? Thanks

maybe it is, I downloaded the file from adobe center and it's a free trial, but when i extracted it it creates something like this...[MSI Updater] Path=WindowsInstaller-KB893803-v2-x86.exe then i will install and when it reaches the end it will roll back
