Can any avgeek/aviator please explain what that steam/smoke stream is that shoots from the engine and over the wing when the 777 lifts off the ground? I noticed that myself when I was flying in a 777 to Austria last January.

It is just condensed air. In areas of lower air pressure humidity will condense (since the temperature drops in this area). You will only notice this if the humidity level of the air is already quite high.

What’s it about G-VIIT and screaming children, see it here in this video on that flight and I had 4 screaming children behind me in the first row of economy when I was last row of premium economy, 9 hour overnight flight back from MCO, not what u want!
