Loved the moment the a321 tookoff and then Parrellaly an a380 lands on the other side

I don't fly very often, but love it when I do. Window seat is never an option, always compulsory for me. Love these videos in between 👍👏😎 First landing I've seen on here landing at MCR from the west instead of the usual easterly approach over Stockport.

Nice....but aren't trains more convenient for such short trips? Probably took 3 times the flight time to get to the airport and go through security.
@conco01010 жыл бұрын
johnlouisville Thanks! Well... I only fly for the sake of flying, not necessarily to get to places. I know what you mean by the train but security is a piece of cake at Heathrow and there's no border control to get through. Free snacks, drinks, great view, London Heathrow and the Airbus A321. In my opinion, better than any train journey.

I’m planning to board with BA for this exact flight to Manchester in the next few months but I’m a very fearful flyer and it’ll actually be my first time flying. Are BA a relatively good aircraft to go with? An sim also a little confused as when I go to book my flight (the same as this one) it says it’ll take 1 hour but here on the video it takes 35 minutes? Is the duration different for each flight? Even if I’m going to go with the same airline and go from the same airport and arrive at the same airport? I don’t want it to be too long😭

In air time is around 25 to 40 minutes depending traffic . As you will here the taxi time to the runway at Heathrow can be almost as long ! Both Heathrow and Manchester operate holding stacks for landing aircraft due to both the numbers of flights arrivals in the same time frame and mixture of aircraft types . Air Traffic control will siphon differing types of planes to achieve optimal runway usage . Suffice to say you wouldn’t land a Dash 8 then A380 then Dash 8 then 777 then Airbus 320 if you could help it due to differing safe spacing requirements. No you would probably be better getting the two slow Dash8 then the Airbus then the 777 and finally the 380 then recurring the several further smaller types followed by another group of wide body types again. Simply said it’s not first come first served ! The use of holds is rather more complex than many including the general media understand and an extra strip of concrete would not eliminate their use at Heathrow The airline timetable include for taxing holding for departure , stacking for landing more taxing and an added safety margin.

Hi, I am writing from a TV production company in the UK called Title Role. We are currently making a documentary series about flights. Each episode will feature a number of different stories ranging from major incidents down to smaller events with private planes. We would love to use your footage in one of our episodes. Please could you email me at Joannahunt@titlerole.co.uk to discuss this further. Many Thanks

mankind is using valuable resources like crude oil for these pathetic journeys. One day oil will diminish and we will have to use the good old horse and cart to make these journeys again.
