Interesting fact about the aircraft that you flew on: a attempted hijacking occurred onboard this aircraft on December 29th, 2000. This aircraft just got retired last year

I've just spent two weeks in Cape Town but I was in the middle row of seats so I couldn't see out of the window for the landing. Thanks for showing me what I missed.

Great video! Coincidentally, my wife and I flew to LHR on this plane on flight BA58 that very same evening, 23 December 2010 :-) We were originally scheduled to depart on the 21st, however due to the freeze in the UK our flight was cancelled and we were booked on the 23rd's flight.
