Turkish airlines has a far superior product between LHR-IST and LGW-IST, I've flown both routes with them a dozen times. (Note the STN-IST route has a sub brand with none of the below and I do not recommend). On the turkish airlines A321neo you get: large very new entertainment system and screen, full high quality meal service (akin to what the middle eastern airlines serve on longer flights), reliable timings and low risk of delays. I would definitely fly turkish at the same price as BA, and would even pay more for it

Oh and the turkish A321neo business class seats look amazing, must be some of the best in europe

Hi I just wanted to ask I am going to Turkey in Istanbul in August on British Airways. Are there any thing you recommend to take on flight or any tips? Also you said that your bag too most of the space so was it comfortable or not? Thank you for the amazing video!

Hi, I would recommend getting any food and drinks prior to boarding instead of their buy on-board menu to save some money, heathrow can get very busy so you want to leave a good amount of time to check-in and get through security. You might also what to download something to watch for the flight as their onboard wifi is not worth it in my opinion. If the flight is busy they may ask you to check you carry on into the hold at the gate, so I would recommend that you put onboard essentials into a bag which can go below your seat. With the bag situation it was still comfortable for me (not being that tall) however, I would say that a smaller bag would make it a bit more comfortable.
