British Airways First | Boeing 787-9 | Mexico City ➡️ London Heathrow

Following on from an enjoyable couple of days in Mexico City, it was time to head home. British Airways use the American Airlines lounge in Mexico City, which was certainly a very different experience from the Concorde Room at Heathrow on the way out.
The flight itself wasn't too bad though. I slept for most of it, but enjoyed the meals.

Nice! How was the food? It looked good - BA is getting a lot of stick atm so interesting to see what looked like a positive review, though the IFE not working not great in 1st - and I agree, I don't like those windows on the 787 - especially that the crew have over-ride on them.

Nice video. I LOVE Mexico City. An amazing and vibrant city. Food looked amazing, that steak looked delicious. Too bad about the IFE. On that topic, what gives with the safety video? I found it odd, as well as funny? The Spanish subtitles ….. Cheers!

Great review. I think that is the longest takeoff roll I have ever seen. I guess this was to be expected given the weight of the fuel and the altitude of the airport. Thank you for posting this video.

I did this exact route 2 weeks ago on Aeromexico and agree because of the high altitude of Mexico City the take off run just like Johannesburg is very long even though you are going flat out

That totally sucks about the IFE on such a long flight. I would have been totally pissed. In fact, I would’ve downgraded to business class if they have a seat available with working IFE.
