Thank you for a well prepared and accurate presentation of a BA First Class experience. We have been most fortunate to have two trips (SeaTac) (Vancouver) to London Heathrow via First Class. Three of the legs were in 747-400's and one in a 777. The cabins were identical. Again, great job!

+davebournemouth Hey DaveBourneouth - pleasure! It is hard to compare. LH is a bit more luxurious but BA is way cheaper. You get first class experience in both of them. LH gives you more value but is more pricey. I like both and can say they both did not let me down :)

+iamjeffness In my experience no, as the lounges are always after security, so unless you are going onto a connecting flight there is no way that I know to go back through security to the lounge without a valid onward ticket once you hit arrivals.

Some airports like LHR have arrivals lounges, but unless you have an onward connection with BA then as previously mentioned you won't be able to go into the departure lounges.

After I watched your Lufthansa review I had to watch this one. They are that good! How do you compare the two trips. In this flight it doesn't seem like the space and the seats are as good as in the Lufthansa one?

+aquaphoenixx hey again :) It is tough. Both airlines provide a first-class experience - no doubt about that. But they also are different. But you have to keep in mind that Lufthansa charges much more for a typical first class flight than BA. That said: both deliver aweseome value for the money - but if you like it a bit more luxurious - Lufthansa wins. If you like the cousy athmosphere of the "suites" in BA - they win.

I did the exact same flight, route, and aircraft with the same First class seats. My experience was pretty terrible because the flight was delayed for 3 hours, lounged sucked, and the delay made the flight attendants in a pissy and a "You're not my boss mood." I'll give BA one more chance to redeem themselves.
