Well, most of the international flights to india arrive at night because there is lesser traffic, especially the fact that domestic flights are lesser during the night🙂🙂

This is not true. European airports have closures at night and European carriers time their India flights to catch their banks to the USA and Canada each morning. These days international flights are very well spaced out compared to 20-25 years back.

Flights do come at night at LHR, but they are heavily restricted by the UK Government to reduce noise pollution. The official night-time hours are between 23:30 and 06:00, and there is a voluntary ban on flights landing before 04:30

They do provide socks, eyeshades, and dental kits on request. Also, I understand your criticism about the seat but it's nice to have the 3-3-3 configuration on their 777 as it feels less cramped. Newer 777s are 3-4-3 which albeit very similar seat width make the cabin feel a bit more cramped.

Just flew from london to Heathrow by BA and it was very nice. Crew and staff was really nice. And i flew mumbai to london by vistara which was really bad.

@@SS-bi4ps boarding is done very unprofessionally, like a fish market. The seats were also quite cramped. Whatever seats gets allocated in system they cannot change unless you pay 4700₹ which is too high. We got seats near lavatory which was giving smell thought the cruise as oldies were not closing the door properly. When time of boarding when i asked can you please give any alternative seat incase any vacant, didn’t even bother to check just straight said no. Can one atleast check. Im from aviation industry i know how things work but vistara guys are just not bothered.

My question is what is your experience for long hours flights in terms turbulence and sitting for more than 5hrs and not getting afraid that what if something bad happens like low oxygen etc? I am afraid and avoid flight for more than 2hrs. So i want to know your views. Thank you

Never drink coffee in airlines, their coffee pots are too dirty. Believe me you will get sick I have worked in Heathrow airport for more then 3 years in American airlines with cleaning team so that's why I know how much dirty coffee pots , and specially BA airlines gallery and bathroom are very dirty they don't do deep clean coz they are flying more then 500 flight a days and they don't do proper clean. Shank i completely agree with you!! Your review is absolutely on point👍 .. I have flown BA on the same sector at least 6 times and each time it's worse! While the staff is nice everything else is rubbish! The last time my tv screen even did not work. The only positive is the timing of the day flight which is why i take it.

Thank you for your honest review of BA flight from Mumbai to LHR. Very sad to see the food trays. I wasn't expecting BA will treat economy class passengers with such a low condition/grade? Mid eighty's, I used to work for BA in their catering section at North side catering section. There, they were preparing the meals for their passengers with pride and were praised by almost all passengers but now it's shame on BA.

Heathrow airport is closed during the night for 6 hours to avoid disturbances of flight landing and taking off. Residences close to the airport are not disturbed by the noise. So flights are scheduled accordingly.

Nice video, Its a shame you were on a aircraft that is not refurbished to the current standard. I thought all 777 had been refurbished, so this is disappointing but Chicago flight looks new which is good to see 🙂

Even Emirates sends 777s with old cabins to India. I had travelled from Bengaluru to Washington DC and noticed the stark difference between the cabins of the 777 sent to BLR and that to Washington.

I have flown with BA many times in the past from India to the USA and most of the times,i have noticed that they always deploy these old B777s aircraft with uncomfy seats and dirty cabins whereas flights to the US, they always deploy newer aircraft. Even Air France does that too,, don't know why they always deploy older aircraft to India.
