This tank is ‘unveiled’ every few weeks. A partial upgrade, yes a new gun, just as the rest are moving to a 140mm self loading gun. 148? A further reduction of 78 from the current fleet. 500 Challenger 2’s , were built. In the early 1980’s the army had 1000 tanks.

Awesome tank. Why do they keep bragging about being the most lethal tank the British Army's ever had? It wouldn't be much point if it wasn't.
