Very interesting, my dad was stationed there in the RAF. We lived in quarters and my dad was fighting in Aden conflict, and came back just as Winthorp was being decommissioned.

We live in southern spain now,have done for the last eight years and if there is one thing we really miss is the motorhome shows!we used to go to them all.thanks for the memories.Enjoy!

Russ walked passed us on the Sunday while we were looking round the vendor stalls, but looked like he was on a mission, so we didn't try and stop him for a chat! It was a good show and our first one of 2024. Hopefully we can catch you at a future show when you are not as busy? The rain almost made it a wash out, but thankfully it stopped enough for a good mooch!
