Congratulations Ruks and Fam, the journey is finally over. My wife also got her citizenship approved on 5th August, the application was pretty straightforward and I did before you posted your citizenship videos. I ended up making some mistakes on the application lol, like forget to upload proof of living in the UK and the mandatory document I accidentally uploaded on another section. I was expecting them to email me back saying I need to provide them with those documents but after 2 months got the email saying the application has been approved, I was so relieved, I guess it was enough evidence what I provided and applying straight after getting her ILR helped like proof of living in the UK the last 5 years. I'm just happy that when travelling to Europe countries don't need a Schengen Visa anymore, it was a headache getting one. Lol I just want to thank you for taking the time making these videos and helping people like me save time and money from going to a solicitor that most likely charges you a bomb. I hope insha'Allah you and fam have a good happy married life. All the best.

Aww thank you so much 💕!! Haha, it does not feel truly over until the passport has arrived and we put in a bangladeshi visa. Then I will finally feel like it's done 😅. Well done for doing it on your own. It's definitely much easier than the visa applications. I am suprised as well that they didn't email you but I'm glad they were still able to approve it. Yes, I used pretty much all the same letters that we used for ILR as they were still relevant. No more schengen visa 😌, no more visa fees...life is good!

Nop you already have your status,indefinite leave can’t expire,it’s just the new digital system coming up, that’s why it says expiry date,u good.

You can apply for citizenship straight away. We made a standard application and heard back after a month.

How did you get a citizenship invitation from council? Your supposed to get email from home office first in the email it will state for you to book ceremony with your council
