If Millie dislikes gulls, she should probably avoid any large parking lots in the Great Lakes Region. We can have ten or twenty acres of tarmac and that looks normal to us. To a gull, it looks like a good, sun warmed landing area with convenient restaurant dumpsters to snatch food out of, when humans are not just throwing scraps on the tarmac. Walmart used to have statues of hawks and owls perched on the edge of their roofs that supposedly would scare the gulls away. The gulls just ignored them. I once saw a gull standing on the head of one of the owl statues.

Half of these people don't even make it to qualifying for 'dum as a box of rocks'! That box of rocks would look on them with a mixture of scorn and pity! Others, well, they just had a helping of bad luck ... although they should have seen the potential for a problem! I do feel sorry for the gal that knocked out the window A/C unit ... maybe she should have thought a little more, before trying that stunt in that location, but she probably just over-estimated her abilities some - and now will probably be expected to come up with the replacement-funds for it!😳

I usually check to make sure people aren't hurt, before I laugh, expect young men and teenagers. Laugh first, then apologize for ignoring injuries. Filming children as they crash into things is weird. MY phone would have been thrown on the ground as I tried to save the kid.
