How a war ends or the results is really unknown who wins a war??? It can years to find out . War is not a fun or easy enterprise anyone who thinks war is easy and that your army can do mighty things and is unstoppable is bound to run into a vietnam or Afghanistan. Its just not the way warfare works. As a former soldier in the US army i can tell you war is complex, more than these war hungry people imagine. Oh amd iraq was another failure of a war and mess. Never ever underestimate your opponent and the will of the people of these countries many will fight to the death and we shouldnt underestimate the people who will never allow conquest to be possible. The point of nukes are to prevent others from using them. However, the problem is that more smaller countries with dictators who aren't afraid of mutual annihilation are being given the secrets to build the nuclear weapons and are far more likely to use them.
@jonadabtheunsightly2 жыл бұрын
Honestly, the nuclear state that worries me most is Pakistan, not because I think the government would use the nukes (other than as a deterrent), but because I can easily imagine their security being bad enough that some rogue group (e.g., the Taliban) could potentially get ahold of a warhead or two. Back in the sixties and seventies, *several* nuclear powers had dangerously lax security around their nuclear weapons; fortunately most have now taken measures that improve this situation dramatically. For example, the launch codes are no longer set to all zeroes (to ensure that the missiles can definitely be launched in an emergency such as nuclear war, a perfect example of why paranoia needs to be filtered through logic, because eep, what a tremendously bad idea that was).

Speaking purely in terms of internal American domestic politics, launching a full-scale invasion of a major power like Russia is absolutely impossible. Even *joking* about something like that could terminate a political career. Providing weapons and information to a country that's being invaded *by* Russia, is one thing. Actually committing troops to assist the invaded country in such a conflict, would be a much harder sell. Being the invader ourselves, is right out. We're a constantly evolving civilization constantly improving our technology. We invent tons of new technology on the spot when its necessary. As long as we remain as competent a civilization as we are now, we'll always have the capability to create and use such powerful weapons. And other civilizations out there are that capable too. If we attacked Russia, it might play out much as was depicted. I do think, other than surgical strikes against Russia's military bases, defenses and armament, we would not "cross" the border into Russia. I think we would also find a way to communicate to the Russian population that we have no intention of fighting inside Russia for two reasons. One, the loss of manpower on both sides would be tragic for both countries. Two, the US has no intent of fighting inside Russia thereby causing wholesale death among the populace (civilian casualties). Hopefully, this would demonstrate that NATO and the US in particular, are not out to destroy Russia as a nation. Pushing the Russian armies back to the Russian border we will not escalate the war into an invasion of Russia. I think that in itself would be cause the removal of Putin if not removed beforehand. I think the people of Russia are quite intelligent enough to understand our intention would demonstrate integrity, no matter what the propaganda machine would spill out to the Russian public.

The vid, understandably (it’s US vs Russia) doesn’t take into account allied assistance. Why is this important? Because the vid DOES address the loss of weaponry in Ukraine. The SAMs and such are fine… Ukraine hasn’t been taking those out. BUT… Russian has used up 50-80% of their missiles on Ukraine. So…. What happens when Poland, Finland and others move in? Russia won’t have any missile capacity to attack across the border. So… I get it… this vid is just US versus Russia. But as one-sided as this video sounds it, incredibly, may be even MORE one sided than it depicts. Sadly, that would mean nukes are pretty much inevitable. Russia will be obliterated rapidly. Much faster than this vid suggests. So, they WILL resort to nukes. So… hopefully, it’ll never happen. For the record, yes, I do recognize they mentioned the NATO allies in Kaliningrad. But it would likely be far, FAR more than indicated here. So….. hope and pray this never happens. Russian survival would be threatened. It’d be much worse than this for Russia. They do not successfully address NATO involvement. Because of that desperation, Russia would go to nukes. I’ll say it a third time… hopefully, this never happens.

Don't forget, this is even without the mention of involvement of other Nato members. Imagine if it was with the help of other Nato members.

In that scenario it’s only The US. However, there is no way the US would go it alone. If there was an invasion of Russia, it would be a NATO operation. There is no way Russia could stand up to the Western European powers as well as The US and Canada. That is the scenario that would actually occur. Think about that.

I think the USA Military could handle Russia however all it would take is the USA Citizens traveling by boat to Russia armed to the teeth with our guns.

Ahaha…no we wouldn’t need a new draft. All they’d do is call up us IAR guys…still about 20 million of us, from the last 21 years of fighting we’ve been involved in. Lol, and wel already know 90-95% of what the newer guys in now know. At least in the vast majority of cases, but we are also east and fast train, as we’ve already done that before, have the mindset, so that’s an easy 5-10 million of 90-95% trained, modern troops, without any new training, lol…and years to even a decade or 2 decades, of off and and on combat experience. We’d steam roll them, it’d be a joke.

China would help Russia. Both countries believe they can survive nuclear war. World leaders would survive, us peasants wouldn't be as lucky.
@tomleroyl2 жыл бұрын
I don’t think China would help them. At the beginning maybe, but any help would be deemed an act of war. The US would cancel all debt with them, and trade would grind to a halt quickly. To survive, they would have to join the rest of the world and I could see them at least remaining neutral. Best outcome would be joining NATO forces and invade Russia from the south, and trying to secure the vast resources of western Russia for themselves.
@phirceoutdoors12802 жыл бұрын
@@tomleroyl They already said they would if NATO got involved. Russia has China, Iran, Turkey, North Korea and a couple others. Those two hold the most resources. We can't get chips from China to make more weapons. China and Russia don't need us for anything. Check out Canadian Prepper. May all this get settled peacefully.
@jdanon2032 жыл бұрын
I don't think China would help. You can't trust or depend on them. They may say they have a friendship with Russia that has no limits, but when push comes to shove, I think they'd rather sit on the sidelines and pick off the good parts of what's left. You see it with this Ukraine mess with both India and China telling Russia, alright time to wrap it up, so it took all of seven months for their support to start wavering.
@mark22202 жыл бұрын
I don't think the people replying to you understand how China would help Russia, maybe you don't either, idk.. they're not going to send in troops and wage war with them. They will provided assistance like we are providing to Ukraine, selling Russia the things they lack, and benefiting economically in the process. It would be very hypocritical of the US to call China out on this, as except for the fact that it's all being given to them instead of sold, we are doing the same thing to aid someone else's war.
@devildog19122 жыл бұрын
@@tomleroyl, correct me if I'm wrong, as I don't follow these things very closely, but do we not supply Ukraine with supplies? Would that not be considered, "an act of war" in Russia's eyes? As far as China is concerned, I'm sure the U.S. would love an excuse to, "cancel all debts with them", but they know we couldn't last more than a week without their cheap crap. I agree with them staying neutral, that would be to their advantage.

Currently we have four options if Russia does anything (including use a single nuke). Thre of the options we have would basically test Putin to see if he would back down or not. If not, then all three would end in a nuclear war. The last option is to have the CIA (or someone else) go in and take out Putin, as we know his leaders under him are way less likely to want to be as extreme as he is (at least with nukes). Fun fact. One of the three options is to detonate a nuke in the Atlantic ocean as a show of force that we aren't afraid to use them.

Huge props to Millie for looking right into the camera and saying (I'm paraphrasing here ... ) "What's the point? There is no point. No one is gonna even know you won. We'll all be dead!" I wish every influential KZbinr would start doing what she just did and encouraging people to stop fighting. I'm a US citizen in Hawaii and I don't want to see this war escalate either. I can say that, with the exception of a few of our far right Nazi-like citizens, we Americans have no interest in "owning" Russia. We just want Russians to live their best lives. Since young Russians are very likely to be finding ways of streaming the internet, it seems to me that if more KZbinrs (and gamers) around the western world would start making clear statements like, 'Putin is evil,' 'Peace is a choice that can come from inside Russia if Russians demand it,' 'War is pointless,' etc etc etc, like Millie just did, it could actually motivate Russians (esp. younger Russians) to rise up against their evil dictator. I mean, what is the worst that can happen? Everyone gets ignored. What is the best? Russians listen, remove their dictator, install good leadership, and the planet moves one step closer to world peace. Thanks Millie for speaking up. I hope other influential KZbinrs (and gamers) follow your lead!

With the US having the second amendment which allows citizens to have guns, there are millions of guns owned by people all over the United States. There are people who frequently quote Japan’s Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto as saying: "You cannot invade mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind each blade of grass." Which would be a true statement but the quote is unverified and no one really know's for sure if he really said it. Anyone would have a problem invading us though since one, we have a massive military and two, millions of citizens are armed and would protect their homes at any cost. We would protect our neighbors or anyone else who needed it also.

What is suppressed here is that US airborne units must immediately secure all Russian silos for intercontinental ballistic missiles and all other storage sites for other nuclear weapons. At the same time, all Russian submarines must be cut off from communications with headquarters so that no orders are given to use ballistic missiles; in addition, all U.S. and British fighter submarines must begin tracking down and destroying all Russian submarines.

Hey everyone - sending this note to those who don't have Jesus, yet. We are in what the Bible calls the "end times," and I'm sure you see the signs all around us. Please - believe in our Lord Jesus Christ today. He died on the cross to cover our sins so that we may be saved, and to avoid the judgment that is coming. When you believe in him, and accept His gift of salvation, you will be saved. Our time is so, so short. I am praying for you all. Ephesian 2:8; John 3: 16-18; 1 Corinthians 15: 1-4; Romans 10: 9-10. You can read the Bible online...
