Not many Malaysians know who Julien was. Now more Malaysians will recognise him as the landscape architect for beautiful landscape of Desa Park City. It must be Julien’s pride and he lives in it too. Great vlog documentary on Desa Park City and its historical development.

Fascinating. I am 65 and hoping to retire from LAPD next year. For years I have thought about retiring in Malaysia. I also have a master's degree in Landscape Architecture. So this episode really caught my attention!! How did a guy with a master's in landscape architecture end up working for the police? It's a long story.

There are 2 lakes in DPC: man-made and natural. Decades ago the natural was accessible, and eventually closed off after the man-made lake was completed adjacent to The Waterfront (retail shops and offices). By end of this year the natural lake will be reopened together with the spanking new Park Place luxury condominium

Definitely KL is a nice city to retire in South East Asia for those who seeks city life surrounded by parks. There are other places to explore too in Malaysia such as beachfronts, rural, and most importantly it’s a relatively safe place with affordable amenities and healthcare 😊

Thanks Andy and Julian, and congratulations on completion of such a stunning property. Desa ParkCity does seem to have a unique and comfortable vibe. Unfortuntally many of us who would love to own or live in such a property are unable to meet or put off by Immigration requirements. Any insights or novel ideas in how we might navigate such challenges would be greatly appreciated .

1993, that's the year I joined KLCC at the site office. There were many international firms, professional consultants, project contractors involved in the development of the KLCC project from masterplanner, architects, engineers. KLCC learned a lot from the building technology from the western professional consultants.
