The McRib is a seasonal item that comes out every winter. Usually around December but it depends on pork prices at the time. They always act like it’s going to be the last time but it’s usually back the next year.

I can agree that i was upset the mcrib wasnt up anymore. Its very saucy and comes with pickles i think, or onions but it was fantastic

Arch Deluxe was awesome. Hot Mustard never left any of the McDonalds I've ever gone to and I would have noticed because that's the only sauce I get. I'm in my 30s and have lived in 3 different states in different regions and they've all always had it. The one menu item I miss that wasn't shown is the Southwest Chicken Salad with Newman's Own Southwest Dressing (not sold in stores, McDonalds exclusive). It was not removed in the early 00s like the McShakers it was only removed during Covid in 2020 and never came back. People say why who goes to McDonalds for a salad....well me I did. I wasn't getting it as a healthy alternative to burgers and fries because with the dressing it's not a healthy alternative I was getting it because it was delicious.

The McDonald's Pizza was very good. I can vividly remember it in the 1990's - it was served in it's own little pizza box. I heard that the boxes were too wide to fit through drive thru windows, but also that they required a special oven, that made them impractical.

We have bagels in the US McDonald's. They come with seasoned steak, egg and cheese on them and I love them. They did take them off menu during COVID but they've recently come back.

That's how it is in the US with the McRib - it's only available at certain times. It is SO good just like Gaynor says, my favourite sandwich at McDonald's by far. Isn't BigMac sauce just suped up Thousand Island dressing?

The spicy mustard for the McNuggets was fantastic. They also came out with a Shamrock Shake. It was reduced to only around St. Patrick's Day, and then seemed to disappear. They even had a McDonald's character to represent it. (It was sort of minty).

The mcrib was around last year around october/November for me in California, was $6.50 just for the mcrib itself, still worth it lol. Nothing like it used to be though, but hell, limited time , you guys should check out the old McDonald's commercials, I think they have compilation videos of them

The" McLobster" is still around here in New England in the summer. It's just called a lobster roll. It's pretty expensive for a tiny roll but it is good.

Mcdonalds still have breakfast bagels in the U.S., and they have the Mcgriddles, which is a breakfast sandwich with the bun being actual maple syrup enfused pancake.

I had a McLobster once...many years ago while vacationing in Maine, the lobster capitol of America. I thought it was only ever a regional item up there in lobsterland. As I recall, the McLobster value meal was maybe 30% more expensive than the fanciest burger meal on the menu. The one discontinued item I miss the most is the fruit and walnut salad. It was a nice alternative to greasy fries. By the way, at 9:56 we're seeing a bunch of cars going through a drive-thru lane with a height indicator saying . None of that makes sense to an American.

Chicken selects were by far superior to the nuggets. We had them for a year or two in Canada after they were released in the US and then they were removed. I might just move to the UK for those things. I work from home completely, and we have a couple of employes in Europe, so I could probably even keep my current job.

If you order multiple drinks, the McDonalds here will put your drinks in a paper carrying tray that keeps them from falling over in the car. I'm surprised they don't do that in the UK.

My brother in law lives for McRib back time. The one thing I've missed, and this is from many years ago, is the cheese Danish on the breakfast menu. Don't eat much fast food, but the one thing I will indulge in, cheeseburgers without ketchup.

I was so sad when they discontinued their fajitas. I tasted most of the items that were discontinued. The worst ones were mighty wings, Mcpizza, and the now occasionally available McRib. Sorry, Gaynor. I started eating McDonald's in 1965. When I was a junior in high school, we had a page in our yearbook that told current prices. Taco Bell competed with McDonald'st and increased their prices from 19 cents to 25 cents. That was quite a long time ago.

That seems a little odd as I'm 50 and I remember them being like $0.73 in the late 70s in San Antonio. And back then you could get a burger, small fries and a Coke for $1.50 to $1.75. It seems very inexpensive to us now but in 1978 that was about 2 gallons of gasoline just for the burger. Inflation is real

@@christianoliver3572 it is nuts. When I first started smoking a pack of cigarettes was $3.10, today the same brand is $10.88. We have to remember in many states McDonald's pays workers $15 an hour. They have to increase prices. Personally I find $15 to work at McDonalds ludicrous.

The McRib should be year-round, not seasonal! Big-mac sauce is basically Thousand Island dressing with diced onions and diced pickles. Love the channel, and will be signing up for patreon soon!

I remember here in the states, they used to sell bucket of fries. It was an extra large soda cup filled with fries. The McRib is a item that comes back every few years. Its a limited time only thing. Also in the early 90's they did a promotion for the movie Jurassic Park.. It was a value meal that had a triple Big Mac, extra large fries and an extra large drink. Also a few years back they had a 39 cent hamburger deal. We would all load up with bags of them.

I love those mighty wings, I wish they would bring them back.... but now I guess not!😢 Yep, you can have a special order at Mcdonald's. That way can make sure it's freshly cooked. That Big and Tasty was good too! I like how Mcdonald's does show you some variety, and they're just trying to change things up a bit (every now and again), I like that. The the Mcribs comes out seasonally in the states, at least in my area of the country it does.😊

What's really crazy is that McDonald's made their name originally on their fries, which were fried in beef tallow rather than vegetable oil. Unfortunately, a badly researched health campaign in the 70s (actually, one politician's crusade with no health information) led to the practice being banned. So the best item on the menu has been unavailable for nearly 50 years.

You can order Mac sauce on your burger instead of ketchup and mustard or add it along with them. Recently, they brought back the strawberry shortcake mcflurry. I should know, I'm a manager at one😊. The video is incorrect about hot mustard nugget sauce. It's still on use at the stores.

Hard to believe the video didn't cover the old deep-fried Hot Apple Pie (and Hot Cherry Pie) they stopped offering in 1992, switching to the limp, tasteless Baked Apple Pie. That was hugely disappointing. Was my favorite dessert item until they pulled it. "Caution-filling is hot!"

the McRib was introduced in the States first in 1981. McDonald's like all American owned corporations rarely if ever send test products to International Market before testing them in the states first.

They had a Asian Chicken salad that was delicious in the 80's. The dressing was amazing. I was the only kid around that would not touch McDonald's with a 10 foot pole. Hated it and still do. I only ever get a coke but now they changed the carbon ratio and now that sux too
