I agree. I found it disgusting that a man is announcing to the world that white women are "privileged" because they get abducted, and probably raped and murdered. After that, they get mentioned more sometimes in the media. Wow, how lucky can you get. I'm sure they are rotting in their graves, or being held hostage in a fucking bunker somewhere as a sex slave, enjoying their privilege. What a world where a man can actually think a woman in this situation is blessed with privilege. It shows how he dehumanizes women, particularly white women, and people are okay with that. Imagine a white comedian doing this only he talks about the privilege that black men who are killed by cops enjoy, compared to the rest of us. Nobody gets more media attention, but who in their right mind would talk about how privileged George Floyd is?

Patrice had such a unique way of thinking, the idea of him with that baby tied to his belt buckle as an insurance plan is hilarious. The number of victims of murders in the whole of London, the other way is incredible. Look it up, please.

I posted this in reply to someone else about dating someone of another race or ethnicity, but I'm also adding it here in case the trio might see it. I did a little reading and found that around 18% of US marriages are interracial, and you have to consider how large the country is, too. Speaking for myself and from what I see and hear.... I'm multi-racial (descendent of Africans, Native Americans, Irish... classified as African American) and I live in Alabama where a lot of people are known to be very verbal about how close-minded they are, but sometimes others who don't live here, make everything about the South sound absolutely horrifying. It isn't. I live in a city, but I know several people, including relatives that live in the country, small towns and much smaller cities who are in a relationship with someone of another race. For the most part, for my family, we have white, black, Asian and Latino family members by marriage. I've dated men of each, and of other races or ethnicities without any problems. In some country areas, some people are still holding on loudly and proudly to hopes of segregation returning, so they may be more likely to be angry to see an interracial couple, but many country people don't care. People in the city may not show it as boldly, but there are some on both sides that are upset about interracial dating. Those in the country (people I know) might get a slur here and there, but for the most part, they don't have any serious problems from anyone, so it's not that different from our city, that I know of. It's also been my experience that if the family is against the relationship of a black and white couple, it's usually because the black family has fears of how their parents and grandparents couldn't even think about dating a white person without being harmed, and they want to keep everyone safe. Some white families may see their child lowering their standards by dating black or Latino people because they're thinking like their ancestors, that the "One Drop Rule" or any sign of color within their family is tarnishing the name. A lot of biracial children are accepted quicker by their black family because many black people know that family is family, so we look out for each other, plus we know what it's like to be left out and made to feel less than because of darker skin.

When my parents married, it was illegal to marry black and white,in the state where they lived. My father didn’t tell me any of this story, I pieced together as an adult that my mother was already pregnant. They went to another state to marry. They returned to Nebraska, where they were students at the University of Nebraska and my father, the Caribbean one, got kicked out of the university. They have 3 kids then decided to move to California where people where people were more accepting. My mother’s family had disowned her. I never met anyone on her side. As for dating and acceptance in my life, people can’t tell my background by looking at me. It’s not obvious that I have African heritage. I inherited my mother’s hair texture and my skin is olive colored and golden. There have been many objections and hassles about who I’ve dated and they’ve all come from family. There’s been a great deal of anger that I wasn’t dating a man from African ethnic background. They would assume I never had or never would. I tend to shut down when someone is angry or sarcastic, so I didn’t tell them who I had given my number to or anything. There is serious concern in the black community that each black person should be focus on their race, their pride in their race, their efforts to do the most they can for their black sisters and brothers. I am now a senior and retired. I consider myself of mixed backgrounds, and with enough issues arising from being mixed that that’s all I can handle. My relatives can say that I’m just black til the cows come home, but I know my life, how I’m treated, how I’m not treated, and which communities accept me. So you all are pretty much right, but some cultures are still touchy

Yea I’m black and although I haven’t had the same experience in real life, I’ve seen online comments made by other black people saying to marry or have kids within their race. There was a lot of drama surrounding Lebron’s son going on prom with a white girl. If you ask me, it sounds like another racist who wants to just intermingle with their own race or “preserve the bloodline”. The argument is the same as a white supremacist , only these people are black. It’s honestly annoying. Just let people love who they want or have families with who they want.

Like any ethnic group, a majority of Black men date and marry within their race. Interracial relationships and marriage are not the majority within the Black community. The only reason many anti Black racists of every hue, talk about interracial relationships involving Black men (in particular) is because they hate Black people and detest see Black men (in particular) and Black women (in general) dating and Marrying partners from different races. Take Mixed-Race Duchess Megan Markle for example, the racist majority in the UK, hated Harry Windsor marrying Ducess meghan Markle, simply because she is part Black (her mother is Black and Father is white). Also look at Maria Raccanu and Naomi Osaka, both are Mixed-Race, but Naomi Osaka is part Black and racists in the UK and USA hates Naomi Osaka for the sole reason that she is part Black. Meanwhile, Maria Raccanu is part white and part Asian and thus is accepted as she doesn't have Black heritage with a visible dark skin that the racist majority in Amerikkk and the Ukkk hates.

As a black man living in a majority white town in the US, black women can be sensitive about black men dating white women. A charitable interpretation of that sensitivity is that they feel that the men they most identify with culturally are rejecting them and in so doing are implying that they are not good enough. Racial politics often gets involved in those feelings along the lines of racial loyalty and western beauty standards. A more harsh interpretation is that there is a sense of entitlement and obsessive racial competitiveness.

Love the banter about race/dating. Yes. In the states there are large pockets of people who say stay in your own race, but the ones dating outside their race(myself included) give no F's LOL!! I never realized how small your country is, but I have noticed, especially watching British shows, that mixed race dating is super common there, but here in the states, we're so spread out, you can still find places where people have never seen a black person, IN person before. Part of the reason 'stay in tour race' is emphasized for black people, is there's way less of us, 15% black, 65% white, give or take a few. This is my opinion. I totally get it, but there's so much more to it that it would take hours to discuss. Back to Patrice

Northern? American asking. Inter-racial relationships in America: depends on wear you are, and I don’t mean Northeast vs. South/-anywhere between East and West coas. I mean metropolitan vs. small town/rural or even suburban in some cases.

No it's definitely not that fine for a lot of people in the states. But it does depend on location since it's such a large country. My city in America is severally segregated by all races involved. We are very far behind the UK in that way. Among other things.

Like any ethnic group, a majority of Black men date and marry within their race. Interracial relationships and marriage are not the majority within the Black community. The only reason many anti Black racists of every hue, talk about interracial relationships involving Black men (in particular) is because they hate Black people and detest the sight of Black men (in particular) and Black women (in general) dating and Marrying partners from different races.

1:55 To answer your question.. Doing just about anything in the USA can cost a Black Man his freedom or his Life. Too successful? (Obviously he's cheating to get ahead) Homeless? (What do You expect? He's Black and probably violent+crazy) He's With an attractive Caucasian?(He must be an Athlete) He owns a nice car? Probably a Drug Dealer The machinations that fill the mind of America where Black Men are concerned are absolutely bewildering.

people date and marry outside their race all the time in the US now.. its pretty common. All though there are still parents or grandparents that would prefer their child or grandchild date someone from their race.... People from middle eastern countries and Asian countries are probably at the top of the list.... followed by black Americans and then would come white and Latino... thats how it seems to me.

As a white man engaged to a black woman (and living in Kentucky), I have a little experience in this field. We've had people give us dirty looks. A cop once told her that she needed to be with a black man, and occasionally we get hateful comments.

As African American who lived in Kentucky for 10 years and knows how racist the state is why would you put your black partner in a environment where her safety could be put at risk? Everyone in America saw that 90 page DOj report of the justice department showing extreme racial bias. If Louisville Kentucky which is the most “educated” city in the state what makes you believe she’s more safe around less educated people? I’m not bashing your interracial marriage but I’m confused why you would knowingly have a interracial marriage around world famous bigots? Get her out that fk up environment Andy move somewhere where you both will be safe. Smh

I understand your viewpoint; it's one I share myself. I have very little close family. Hers is vast, and her mother is elderly. She wants to stay here and be close to her mother until she passes. She's saying she'll be more willing to relocate after that. And the day has not yet come when I will try to override her on this decision. I tried that once, and my ass is still raw from her chewing it out. But I do appreciate your words and your kind thoughts.

I can’t believe the blond lady said Oriental. In the states, that word is not pc and hasn’t been for decades. I remember long ago when I first heard someone chastise another person for calling a person oriental. I think you’re just supposed to say Asian. But that’s here. I guess no one gets flack for saying that where you guys live.
