I wish this was updated with the absolute insanity he said about LeBron and then LeBron cooked him so bad he tucked his tail between his legs and cried. He was so hated after that the Grizzlies basically openly said this guy is done and won’t be back under any circumstances 😂. The difference between him and a guy like Trae is those guys are gonna talk trash and then give you 25 points or more and shut up crowds by scoring. Brooks gets you like 8-10 points and then some above average defense and then his teammates get the brunt of it having to do most of the work against an angry and motivated team. Dude talks soooo much and writes checks he can’t cash even with his now LAUGHABLE 20 million a year

@@bdbd1390 A bit of revisionist history. there my man. lol "The Memphis Grizzlies have informed controversial guard Dillon Brooks that he won't be brought back "under any circumstances," "We're going to take a different approach as it pertains to [trash talk] next season," Grizzlies general manager Zach Kleiman said Sunday during the team's exit interviews. "You'll see a different approach from this team, but at the same time, confidence is important. ... There's a line there, certainly." Now the Grizzlies have Marcus Smart from The Celtics to run the team and to try to bring an ounce of maturity to the likes of Ja Morant. But the Celtics (my favorite team) got an athletic 7'3" forward/center, Kristaps Porzingus in the deal plus 1st round draft picks, so it was an incredible deal for the Celts.

Brooks is the kind of player every team needs, and in a league where everyone is buddy buddy it’s refreshing to have somebody who don’t like the other squad that’s the 90’s type of play! he was unfairly blamed for the grizzles lost this past post season

People are a little weird about Dillion, Griz, even before the Lakers series wasn't gonna be able to bring Dillion back. No matter what. He got a 4 year 80 million contract with Houston. No way Griz was gonna offer more even before that. When they have 3 more higher priority players to pay and the new CBA. No shit he wasn't coming back. They couldn't afford him anyways. Especially someone who does shoot more then Griz probably wants him to do.
