We know it’s not the never if the Premier League. We know passes go astray & players panic under pressure. But it’s still our football & our club! Sydney FC has a different vibe playing down at Kogarah than we did at the old Allianz Stadium. But the club is one big family, from the CEO to the players to the supporters. Several of our players wanted to stay with us at their team hotel the night before the Grand Final rather than go to dinner. We have quality footballers in our side. Adam le Fondre moved from Bolton Wanderers Milos Ninkovic has become an Australian citizen & Alexander Baumjohann is an ex-Bundesliga Star You were there in the night ex Melbourne Victory stalwart Kosta Barbarouses scored 2 against his former team. They are beyond salty about it! 🐍

I’m a Sydney fan and very involved with the ultras, this isn’t even our biggest rivalry. It’s definitely a tense one but our biggest game is the derby against Western Sydney Wanderers, not Melbourne. Though we do hate Melbourne a lot

The Aussies have a decent little terrace culture going on. Best fan groups are The Cove, RBB from west Sydney, used to be North Terrace from MV but not sure how it’s going down there these days. Good to see

Their passion to play has just vanished for some reason, but levy should've given poch another chance to prove himself 😭 poch has changed our club from a mid table side to a champions league spot almost every season. George, theres no ultras in Australia, we have casuals depending on clubs like youve got some in Sydney FC's club but its not an Ultra mentality as per say as compared to that of European Continent....but it is a hybrid of such between that and British styled atmospheres. Best of both worlds in terms of Terrace styles within Australian Football. But you probably havent been towards the best supported side in the Australian League which is 8 hours south of where you are in Melbourne at Melbourne Victory (even if they are my rivals, I support Melbourne City, owned by the Manchester City owners themselves) but youd have a far more ultralistic style down here in Melbourne than you would with Sydney FC, you might get it with Western Sydney Wanderers but thats about it. But nonetheless, welcome to Australia mate, enjoy football here.

Sydney fans do get tired of winning against Wanderers all the time. Its not the case with the Melbourne Derby almost evening out of results/clashes. City hierarchy knows it wont get thousands upon thousands of fans/supporters to City. But it can build on what it has off field. The few supporters and numerous and numerous amounts of seagulls.

we're better than Americans in atmosphere, were more European and better than anything than 90% of the English sides bring, at least we chant for 90 mins straight, only one we cant go against is Crystal Palace's Homesglen Ultras, Celtic's Green Brigade, Rangers Union Bears....the rest, our best terraces outsing and out perform any British terrace there is. We're more comparable to the European Continental Terraces if that. We're just better than most Brits.

Eli A. True. Most of the British atmospheres are dead. However, I've seen quite some videos about Australian fan culture and the pregame atmosphere and general chanting style, look of the tifo and appearence of the ultras, is very American.
