if you are interested in the Visayas area, Cebu is the Queen City of the South. It is where the Spaniards first docked. Then you got the Western Visayas, where amazing beaches are found like in Iloilo and Antique. Eastern Visayas is where I came from, specifically the Island of Leyte. It's the place where General Douglas McArthur returned after their retreat against the Japanese in WW2, and promised that he will return to gain victory. But regardless where you go, wether Luzon, Visayas, or Mindanao, expect friendly faces, good food, lots of drinking sessions, and karaoke. Don't worry about communicating with the locals. Majority of the population speaks English. May not be American fluent, but easy enough to understand.

As someone that comes from Luzon, in my opinion, Bohol and Cebu got the best beaches. Leyte is beautiful too. My grandmother hails from Leyte but married to my grandfather who was a pure Tagalog when she came to Manila. I heard Leyte is pretty awesome too and I hope to see it one day in person.

Awesome video man, came across this whilst waiting for UFC 281 main event haha. I’m British Filipino and can confirm the Philippines is very beautiful. It’s a shame that it is very corrupt politically- hence the controversies, injustices and poverty. With that said, Filipinos are known to be good at singing and there’s a lot of them on this platform you could react to (if interested.) Singers like Morissette and Gigi De Lana or even Marcelito Pomoy.

Corruption runs around the world not only in Philippines actually there are countries that are much worst than the Philippines in terms of corruption and what is happening in the Philippines also happens even on rich develop countries like the recently issue of the former king of Spain who is involved on a large scale corruption who is hiding right now or the ousted female former President of South Korea because of corruption. Here in the US corruption is legal in almost every form you can imagine and the US Gov. just knows how to hide it just to make the image of US clean in the face of the world. there are a lot of cases of Government officials, uninformed, corporate, sadly even professionals etc. who are involved/culprit/mastermind in corruption some of them have been locked up in jail some still made a way to make bail out and still do what they do best in terms of corruption using tax payers money.

About the question if philippines is like Mexico or Brazil, well my friend, i would say almost😇 if not because of our former President Rodrigo Duterte, philippines would have become a Narco state. And if you wanna know how Rodrigo Duterte take a stand to risk his life and his family against cartels here in the philippines, there's a lot of "International" ducementaries(Biased) to his actions and it's actually interesting if you react one of those. They feature the south more, however they have not explored nor shown the northern region like Ilocos Region. We have place that is called Santorini of the Philippines which is nicer than Santorini. There is also the biggest white rock formation in burgos, ilocos Norte and in pagudpud you have silver, white and cream sandy beaches. Living here for the past 10 yrs is indeed paradise on earth

There's a long liat of places to visit...so i guesa you should make a list coz for me many to mention 😊. Last month we were in Coron Palawan and Tagaytay. That's a start for you. You can also visit El Nido and Puerto Prinsesa in Palawan for the underground river. Chocolate Hills is real and its in Bohol. Cebu and other parts of Visayas region. Enjoy your visit in the Philippines. I'm from the Philippines. Mabuhay! by the way do kamayan (eating by hands) usually with boodle fight and in provinces too. But we use cutlery most of the times.
