This guy has my respect. To be nuanced and objective about the world and the government, and even having a background of wanting to fix things only to discover how bad things really are now, is such a breath of fresh air. It's a shame that corruption pushes good people out of the system, but I've read in some books that the particular system (especially the parliamentary system) is made that way on purpose, in order to attract the types of people who would bribe others or make backroom deals just to be relevant, rather than upstanding statesmen who want the best for their country regardless of what the media may say, etc. I'm starting to study a lil bit of history and politics and I've noticed that things aren't always black and white with what is effective in our governmental systems, and how that pertains to any objectives the nation is aiming for.

The main problem with UK voting isn't just two sides, same sides. America is a 2 team system, the uk is an artificial 2 team system. The only sides people go for are the main-stream labour and conservative.
