Pommix is crazy popular in Finland. i'm working in a candyshop and I have this one guy who's my customer but he lives far away, so everytime he comes, he buys like 10kg on pommixes :D

I miss pätkis so much. I am from Finland but I now live in Sweden and they doesn't have pätkis here. Which makes me sad :( Alot of Finnish candy isnt easy to find here tho.

Ye, but I was one of those like 5% in finland that have Swedish as my motherlanguage, I had struggles to learn Finnish. Which sucks so hard to be fair. I really wanted to learn Finnish :c I got alot of Finnish speaking friends but we always write in English since we understand each other better that way.

We we´re watching this video with my friend just now, but if you want to taste more finnish candies, we recommend these! - Fazerin parhaat - it´s a bag with many different candies - Vanhat autot - salty liquorice - Fazerina - chocolatebar - Missä X - Fazer Liqueur Fills - chocolate candys with filling - Sisu (looks like it says Gifu...) About the candy bars that you tried (Da Cabo, Jim and Pätkis). Did you know that those are actually made from waste chocolate. Not really from the actual waste, but their history is that Fazer wanted to introduce a new product that they could make from chocolate that goes waste from other chocolate products that they make. So they started making Da Cabo and Pätkis and made those from all the surplus chocolate they got from other candies. For instant the mint in Pätkis is meant to mask away the taste of different chocolate varieties mixed together. I think it does that quite well and it's a genius way for production. Also Pätkis is probably my favourite chocolate so it's a double win.

dacapo has rum and liqueur in it :) there are lot of different fazer chocolates, my favorite is marianne chocolate bar! there are also marianne candy and hails/drops whatever which are really good

That Fazer Pihlaja candy is something like hundred years old. The oldest brand of candy currently made in Finland. Have you tried chocolade with rasberry youghurt inside..? Yummy as hell.. :P

Fazer bought its first waffle machine to make candy for the Helsinki Olympics in -52. The machine didn't work perfectly first and all waffles came broken out of it. Not to waste any the major candy maker decided to use them in a chocolate bar and thus was Geisha bar found. They went so well that after the waffle machine was fixed and did not break any waffles anymore they had to break them deliberately for to make the popular chocolate bar that we still love.

I think salmiakki is also known as salty liquorice. I live in Finland, I'm not like a huge fan of it but it's okay. And there are actually more than one kind of salmiakki I think (at least some taste different than others)

I bought a can of brain blasterz last spring. I still have pretty much all of them left, I only ate three.. Your reaction was pretty accurate, also funny as hell. I realize this video is almost three years old, but if you still happen to follow the comments you should try Poppamies candies.
