AGT production did not allow Gabriel to sing the song Stand Up by Cynthia Erivo who is much better known and offered this song that few knew (we believe it is to boost the composer and singer Jacob Banks), Gabriel sang very well, showed all his talent live, did his best to stand out when singing this song. Gabriel's mother said today in an interview that the producers of the American Idol program have already invited Gabriel to participate, but will no longer accept invitations to reality shows. But the production team refused, Gabriel's mother and he didn't say why (I believe they kept quiet about that part because of the contracts with NBC and AGT). I'm brazillian and I think that a talent tv show where the audience decides who stays or leaves will rarely have a fair results, especially if there're competitors from different countries .I'm not saying that Gabriel should win,but who should decides should be a technical jury. @efrainpalma3855 I didn't particularly care for the song choice but he did the best he could with it. He wanted to sing Stand Up but wasn't allowed to by the show. They make the decisions not the contestants. Had he sang the shortened version of Stand Up he posted on KZbin he would be a finalist. That decision was Simon's. He has always wanted Putri, a much lesser vocalist to win and she will because she's blind and will get sympathy votes. It's very unfortunate because Gabriel's is a once in a lifetime voice.
