To me, the States is what a call a Villareal-type team... They aren't gonna win it; but they will send anybody home, if they're stupid enough to under estimate them. In my opinion, a good game for USA, and the English will be a bit disappointed, although it could have been worse. A good point. Also, a good 0-0 to watch from a neutral point of view. It's funny how one is so invested in the game and one does not really care. lol No, Spanish language don't talk that fast inherently. One, it depends on which country is soeaking Spanish. Two, it's just because English words are pronounced differently depending on which syllable is stressed like (PROduce and proDUCE or PREsent and preSENT). Spanish has the same meter regardless, so it appears faster because you nrver have to emphasize a certain syllable. Honestly, English is weird. And nope, she said one is French, not Spanish.

@@darkstar3116 That is not the point of what I was saying. I was talking about meter. Emphasizing vowels does not elongate the word. Emphasizing syllables, you are forced to pronounced one syllable longer than the other. Consequently, the meter for every syllable is not the same. Spanish do not have that, thus, it sounds faster. English, stress-timing, tat taaaat taat tat tat. Spanish, syllable-timing, tat tat tat tat tat.

people were doing it because they weren't used to it, it had been Queen for 70 years so hard to break that habit. There has been lots of instances of King been sang in just as full voice as Queen since then including at football games around the time of the corronation.
