Edit: Strong safety has several roles, can line up in the box next to linebackers, cover deep middle or sideline routes, blitz the qb, stuff the run from inside the box, cover the TE... needless to say it's a very important position.

General philosophy on defense is if your the 1st man to the ball carrier you focus on tackling him . If your the 2nd or especially the 3rd you can decide to go for the ball and cause a fumble.

Strong safety is usually in the middle of the field. They’re suppose to stay close to the line of scrimmage to put a halt to the run and guarding the tight end on passing plays. There’s nothing like it. The jets, the stealth, choppers are a thing of beauty every single time. Peyton Manning has always been my favorite QB, Terry Bradshaw back in the day, but I can’t wait to see what Trevor Lawrence is going to do. You need to checkout Lawrence Taylor and Bill Romanowski.

Your safety and defensive backs are your back line. It’s your fullbacks and centerbacks, and linebacker is like a cdm. Get past the line and you will probably score. It’s similar to soccer but we have to a set piece every possession (start stop) and 4 try’s to go 10 yards. It’s just the ball is played in the air and not on the feet. The quarterback is a cam and running back and receivers and winger and striker

8:06 I am a life long Seahawks fan. I watched this game. This was the Super Bowl. The Broncos were the highest scoring single season offense in NFL history. The player who made this was Demaryius Thomas, the most reliable offensive player on the team, and Peyton Manning's go-to guy. After that hit, the Broncos offense wasn't the same for the rest of the game. All of em. Nobody wanted to catch the ball anymore and were bullied the entire game. You don't have to make a reaction video of it, but just watch the highlights of this game (Super Bowl 48) and watch the Broncos offense completely shut down after this play.
