The problem that I see with overpriced thrift clothes is that low income folks used to be able to find decent quality clothes there at an affordable price. Especially useful for job interviews etc. New cheap clothes are often poor quality and don’t last.

Charity shops are run by volunteers - mainly retired older people, although managers are normally paid, they will have to pay utilities and shop rent too. They sell mainly second hand clothing and household goods and the money goes to the chairty who runs the shop. Some sell new items too, such as toys, greetings cards, handmade items etc.

I tend to play it a bunch, then not at all and repeat the cycle. I know a lot of people got it in 2020 and stopped playing but I think taking breaks keeps it fun. Also my island still has lots of decor to be done and I don't rush that so I 1) enjoy it 2) continue to have things to do 3)to make sure it is perfect. Do you play stardew? I like having both because they are both cozy and fun but crossing is better for a more chill mindless play, and star dew when I maybe want something less casual and requires more thought, attention, planning, etc@@meredithgrimm6635

Lisa is honestly by far my favourite person you've reacted to. I adore the energy she brings.
