“That day, for no particular reason, I decided to go for a little run.” “So I ran to the end of the road, then I thought: maybe I should just run to the end of town.” “And when I got there I thought maybe I should just run across Greenbow county. And when I got there, I thought maybe I should just run across the great state of Alabama. And that’s why I did, I ran clear across Alabama.” “For no particular reason I just kept on going. I ran clear to the ocean.” “When I got there, I thought maybe since I’ve come this far, I might as well turn back and keep on going. When I got to another ocean, I thought: I might as well turn back and keep right on going. When I got tired, I slept. When I got hungry, I ate. When I had to go... you know, I went. “And so, you just ran.” “Yeah.”

It was so nice to hear you speaking at the 2019 London Marathon expo last week. A awesome story teller. Thank you so much.

0:38 'Let's make it a slightly more exclusive club...' And, just like the London Marathon's 'Ever-Presents', it's also a club which is highly likely to only get smaller!

I would like to do this as well one day (which means I probably will never get around to it) but I'm wondering how much mass I would lose. I'm a "beefier" runner as I do lift weights on the regular. I imagine I'll be a string bean by the time all is said and done. 😅
@seanclough58614 жыл бұрын
Just live on mass gainers and vitamin pills every day lol
@joelouden65923 жыл бұрын
I've been lifting weights so long that I gained too much mass to run anymore. When I couldn't military press 50-pound dumbbells more than once I could run 3 miles in 27 mins, easy. Now I can mil-press 50-pound dumbbells 20 times, easy, but I can barely run one mile in 10 mins.

He is Not Forrest Gump Forrest Gump Is Justa Movie
@YaowBucketHEAD4 жыл бұрын
Actually it was a book. Obviously he's not Forrest Gump, but calling him "Forrest Gump" in comparison to his feats is a way of description. It's an easier way for him to be known. More people will know of his journey versus calling him a "distance runner". Add in the fact that he was motivated by the movie and did a very similar route to accomplish his goal makes this an acceptable comparison. In other words, take it easy. Edit: just found out you're a young man with a badly tuned guitar. You get a pass. Have a nice day. 🙂

Guinness book of world records is a joke lol Have this dude the fastest marathon time ran in a character costume but wouldn’t give my dog a record for the longest sit pretty because in their words “there’s no way to prove that I’m forcing her to do that”....uh to sit like a meerkat I’m pretty sure you could tell if I was forcing her or not lol Whack ass place took my five bux and won’t give it back lol that’s how they are still even around is they take everyone’s money. Ppl with actual categories that others will want to try and break. Not some one of a kind never to be done again type stuff smh
