you have to admire the bravery of these guys, when that guy just barges that wall down, they all run in 1 by 1 without hesitating, without any knowledge of what's on the other side, if you seriously think what you'd be like in that situation, i'd probably be bricking it. Also i found out from another video, that the man that knocks the wall down.. "Thomas Curry" was killed in January '07

@1982FMJ in this senario they will call in an ammo drop if that cant be done then they will fall back to a safe location, if they cant fall back then fast air would be called in to cover them. as for the no ammo no a soldier will always have ammo on them when they go out of base, if they are in a neutral area then they will have the rifle by their side. recruiters are their to paint the best pic, speak to ex squaddies etc they will tell you the truth...
@balny2000
@balny2000 14 жыл бұрын
@1982FMJ if all else fails then heads down bayonettes fixed! all available troops armour air etc would be called in to cover an extraction, they may fall back a bit to a secure location but they wont leave a man behind.. some have died trying to get to their friends, a while ago 2 guys hung from the bottom of a heli after grabbin one of our lads who had died charging a enemy hole. i think to date only one coalition soldier is still MIA people are still searching and will do till he is found.
@balny2000
@balny2000 14 жыл бұрын
@1982FMJ you have a point but if its one of your friends im sure you or anybody will do their best to get to them. most of the lads out their went from basic to frontline together, and going through what they do it forms a bond, because out there your mates are your family, you depend on them the way they depend on u also if the enemy managed to get a body then they would parade it all over the tv they have no respect for anyone!! im sure the familys of the fallen dont want to see them on news.

Delta Force, the closes thing I can compare them to is S.W.A.T but with nicer equipment and a love of C4, they are a very mobile group, they mainly do snatch and grab and assaulting strong holds, that's about it really, oh ya they also specialize in Urban war fare, I am joining the Marines as a riflemen

everyone keeps saying why did they attack at night. in the first video they were attacking at night but changed targets when last minute info reported the possible location of a warlord and hence the operation continued on into the day.

If you read my post I did say the Taliban's harbouring of Bin Laden was a main reason for the invasion, while Mugabe is doing sick things to his own people, killing civilians isn't a good enough reason on it's own for an invasion. As far as we know Mugabe isn't prodiving a safe haven for international terrorists and so for now, the peacekeeping operations there and UNICEF is about as far as we can go. As for Afghanistan, whether we like it or not, we're gonna be there for years to come.

You said it yourself, Iraq was full of lies. Whether they went there for oil or actually did believe there were WMDs in Iraq, that's the reason they gave. Zimbabwe couldn't get hold of WMDs and has no resources to exploit anyway, so whichever reason they went to Iraq for is non-transferable with Zimbabwe. Also in response to your other comment, Bin Laden may not have been Afghani, but he was IN Afghanistan and the Taliban were refusing to hand him over, hence us invading to capture him.

I think you're getting Afghanistan mixed up with Iraq, Iraq was where the lies were, we went into Afghanistan to overthrow the Taliban who in 2001 was the governing body and itsself a terrorist organisation who everyday murdered Afghan civilians and were also harbouring Osama Bin Laden. "Pulling out tomorrow" would also result in the country collapsing, since the Afghan army can't control the country in it's present state. That would make the last 9 years and 1600 deaths a complete waste.
