well yes. they whole British model in India was to collect wealth from India. First started via trade through East India Company and then via lagan (tax) and revenue when they had administrative control. But who allowed them to rule over India ? Were the British greater in numbers ? We were far greater in numbers yet we allowed ourselves to be slaved for 190 years. Though 190 is too much because Battle of Plassey did not bring the entire country but parts of Bengal under British rule. But it was the beginning. The truth is even after being heavily outnumbered the British ruled India it is our fault. The Indian rulers and kings of those times were actually selfish and lacked patriotic feelings and that allowed British to take over. They were no better than them but actually worse in many ways for the common public. So if the British took away their wealth and are now storing it in museums I see nothing wrong in it. Outrageous as it may seem. At least the wealth is being preserved. And let us not forget that in the process of collecting tax the British gave us a lot of infrastructure which has helped us in Independent times. The entire Railways (one of the best and most extensive in the world), all important administrative buildings including Parliament, the set up and organization of our army and our administrative services (the backbone of our country) is still the same as done by them. I am not glorifying Britsh rule but to raise such emotive issues like British took some statues and Kohinoor and the sword of this ruler and knife of that king is just foolish. Look at Japan. Japan and USA fought against each other in WW II. After the War Japan became one the closest allies of USA. It is now one the most developed countries in the World.

@Nation First no bruh, Im from kerala and we have one of the richest temples in India and all the gold are kept secretly within the temple and noone else the royal family had seen it. Maybe some bronze and stone statues or artifacts maybe displayed in Indian museums but all the gold belongs to royal family and we have no right to say it belongs to India. Because India as a unified country didn't even exist before independance. So is a delusion that we would have been rich if british didn't looted us. Trust me there is still gold in Indian temples treasuries that can overtake the capital income of some countries. But that doesn't make indian economy any superior.

We can find monuments like that in temples of every state of our country even today. Im not sure how some monuments and artifacts are important when we have thousands of ancient temples which abundant with architectural wonders like that. What makes museums so important when we have thousands of ancient temples with mindblowing architecture all around India. From what I saw what they have is nothing compared to the more complex statues we currently have. I have seen temples with more complex statues with extreme precision that there is a statue of Lion with a stone ball in its mouth which cannot be pulled out and the whole statue was made from one stone. So its weak mindset to cry about the ones we lost and blaming it for our misery. Remember that japan was vapourized by america and look where they are now. At the end it comes to willpower of people not wealth

i come frm INDIA and here 5000-7000 years ago..our saints and yogis discovered those things tht u r talking abt we are the oldest civilizations in ths planet...in hindu vedas..book starts with saying..hole universe is a dance of energy which we call shiva's dance...and tesla is not the only one before him thr were many scientists of india who told us the formulas of black hole..if u dnt believe google abt RAMANUJAN the great mathematician and aryabhatt who invented zero in A.D. 458..which then nobday could thought of..higgs boson particle which called boss particle is named on Satyendra Nath Bose..yogi paramhansa and before him so many yogis have told us that human can use telepathy to talk to each othr from anywhere.. each smallest particle or atom has its own memory they even talked about the QUANTUM Physics in "the autobiography of a yogi" book.. ayurveda, patanjali, yoga, meditation, sprituality these invented in INDIA..bt nobody has great thought abt india they only see us as we dnt have toilets or poor country.. before british we called as" golden sparrow "we were holding 30% of worlds gdp before mugals and british came they burn all our knowledge and vedas our wisdom and looted us which can be so useful for humanity..in NALANDA UNIVERSITY which ws worlds frst University founded in the 5th century B.C..over 9 million books burnt in 1193 by khilji frm many countries people used to come thr as hostel facilities were ther, if u want to knw more abt plz search n read carefully.. everything is connected bt human mind is blocked with thr thoughts thts y in dhayana(meditation) one try to clean his mind with thoughts ..they say desire is the main cause of every misery..and here u guys making people greedy for money and success..in east we just opposite to that.. success means how u feel n satisfied within yourself..its nothing to do with showing to the outer world..the hole universe is inside u..if u sacrifice ur thought emotions and identity of urs..one can live like a Yogi(who Unites with the universe)..the full fledged life with full of energy🙏🙏

The thing is we aren't taking care what already we have here in India . Atleast the british are taking care at best than India can . That's how they are atleast propagating and preserving about past culture for the world to see.

@@abhijeetkumar-hv6qh Yeah we see how so called "devotees" take care of temples. Most of our temples are in absolute garbage and are just dirty....and are in ruins. noone invests in preserving the temples . The devotees are there to earn a living not for taking care of temples.
