By the cop shop, those steps, were called "The 108 Steps", (and their are 108 from top to bottom: I've counted them), that in fact goes down to the train station. Blurb:- "A local legend attached to the 108 steps is that that anyone who can make it from bottom to top without taking a breath on the way, will have a wish granted.", been there (didn't do that), it's one hell of a climb; in either direction! That golden Post Box was painted that colour because "Ben Ainslie, 35, won his fourth gold medal at the London Olympics games in 2012 and become the most successful sailor in the competition’s history." - blurb from the web. Funny how we've all forgotten it ever happened. Also, the "Treacle Town" gonks knitted on the post box, reflected Maccs most notable event, which was:- blurb - "referring to the centuries old accident when a horse drawn wagon overturned, spilling its cargo of Treacle onto the cobbles.", making a right old mess in the process. Just a heads up with what you missed. God save the King.

You did right to basically tell those cops to do one. Why should you account for a legal activity? As for Rishi Sunak. He was marginally better than Starmer but on the big issues there was little difference. The Tories just gave the illusion of being better because they slow walked us into decline whilst Labour are full foot on the throttle and they do it with such arrogance. To be honest, i think in the long run, this Labour government will have been a blessing in disguise. By the time they have finished they will not see government again for a very long time.

born in Macclesfield and lived there until I was 6. I moved to Somerset and lived here ever since. We occasionally go back to see the rest of the family, and I am so glad we moved. there's nothing wrong with Macclesfield but sunny Somerset is nicer.

You did it AGAIN at 7 29. Your wording of the thank you was word perfect explaining how you put into words what lots of us think but can’t spit out intelligently. Good lad CV. You speak for ME.

Love your walking, edgy social commentary videos from the beautifull, but challenged, english shire. This Macclesfield video is great. Ian Curtiss suffered from maniodepressive disorder, so he didnt really have a choice.

Anyone else think the pigeon is a perfect metaphor for our times - self-propelled vermin class looking down on us whilst shitting all over us with impunity.

I too was thinking that the camera image might be too sharp. It can probably be reduced by a software setting, I would guess. It is very clear and rather splendid.

The problem the Government sees is old age British people. The ones that worked all their lives and bought their homes. The ones that have been ideal citizens. Well they are now depriving immigrants of places to live! How unthoughtful of the British ageing community! Government wants them out of the way! Sad.
