Fun fact is that Blake put his career on the line for this song. Producers wanted nothing to do with this song, so Blake said if they let him do this song & it didn't do well he would quit. Good news is the song did very well, so Blake is still here. 👍

Blake has restaurants named Ole Red. He's also a judge on The Voice. He's been on it since the beginning and has had 8 winners out of 20 seasons. The most of any of them. They are on season 21. He also has a great sense of humor. He and Gwen also have recorded songs that are really good.

I bought the CD with "The Baby" on it. I think it was the last CD I ever bought. I just loved that song -- still do. And he was just adorable. BTW, he still has his hair but it's very short now........and grey.

Growing up here in the south ,this song is apart of a old story that has been shared that I use to hear as a kid Growing up . Southern people like to tell stories like this ,as I've traveled people have often accepted me in because of a story, it's just something country people did as entertainment but it's a dying art unfortunately.

It's a shame that Blake and Miranda couldn't hold their marriage together. It's well-known that they both drank pretty hard had wild fight sometimes and hotels and their home and I guess it just came to an end hopefully amicably.
