Thanks! There’s only one Whitney H. Glennis is Glennis. Katrina is Katrina. I am very sure Katrina is not impersonating Whitney’s singing voice here. This is Katrina’s own vocals singing Whitney songs, live, non-stop, sitting and legs crossed while belting. And she did a darn exceptional job doing it! She’s just having fun sharing her talent to whoever wants to listen to some Whitney medley. I did. I appreciated her without comparing to other artists. But what the heck! I didn’t know this was a comparison channel! Lol! My bad! Have a great Sunday from Houston. 👍🏻🎶🤗💕🇺🇸

They are quite annoying lol! Are they musicians by any chance? Because they don't seem to get how amazing this is. Bad acoustics in a rinky dink club, but still sounds amazing. Only a few singers can pull this off, especially sitting down cross legged on a stool. I don't think they realize how difficult it is to sing these songs. That's why not too many try to cover Whitney's songs, let alone a medley. And yeah she wasn't trying to sound like Whitney at all, like what the heck. She made this her own & she sang this with her heart. Katrina has done more videos after this, much more sophisticated & well-produced, but this one is still one of my favorites bc it's just so raw. This is what you call pure talent. Too bad these guys didn't experience what most of us felt about this performance. So many have reacted to this for the past several years & everyone is astounded, especially the vocal coaches. This is the most lame reaction I've seen so far, hehe. It's ok, some people just lack musicality & unfortunately can't recognize great talent when they see one.

Katrina Velarde is a vocal BEAST. Not only that she is a superb songstress and technically master singer. FTR, I am a retired professional music critic with 45 years experience. This is probably as close to the immortal Whitney Houston as anybody. Katrina Velarde should be an International Superstar household name.

She does a new version of Whitney (her later albums from this one) Medley at the Casino Filipino uploaded in 2019. She ends with a fast song of hers. Please check it out. She does other singers too. Big vocal singers. If you like upbeat, She does lady marmalade really well, the version with Christina Aguilera in it. She's super versatile in terms of her singing style. She uploads impersonations of Tori Kelly, Jessie J, Beyonce and more on her KZbin channel! A lot of her live performances content tho are uploaded on Qritiko's youtube channel. So much to see!

Terrible acoustics. No auto tune or embellishments. Poorly recorded on a camera phone and she still sounded That Good. That’s what’s amazing about this!
