Richard Jefferson was pretty old at this point and he was being sarcastic about doing a dunk where he goes between his legs. It's something you would never ever see him do on the court. He was just dickin around.

As a fan of British comedy I prefer DN reacts channel to most for reactions. Allows me to re run old highlights and hearing a different point of view from a culture standpoint. Y’all always cracking me up. And for the Richard Jefferson saying he was going to go in between his legs, I think he was just being sarcastic with Iman Shumpert, Shump could catch serious air during that time, while Jefferson was at the end of his career. If you haven’t maybe watch his highlights or poster dunk compilations, he should have a lot to choose from back in the day. Keep it up over there across the pond, all the way from Kentucky USA, Go Cats. Say no to slippy nippies.

The mics are sewn in the jerseys. They use a special mic where even if its folded or gets crushed when in contact with another player, it doesnt hurt the one wearing them. So thats why we have old and new footage that has their mics working.

Between the legs is a crossover. Lots of practice to do it right. When I played, it was fun to do but I was a center and back in the 90s we were just supposed to stand dumb around the post, rebound, layup, block and pass. I was different in that regard but today the girl athletes are allowed to be wayyyyyy more athletic than we were. Plus advances in medical science.

There aren't any mics. There are super-sensitive recording devices around the court. They're protected on the back side, with half round dome, so it only collects noise from the court. Then, the different voices are extracted or separated digitally.
