The reason people call KD a snake is because he joined the same team that beat him 3 months before. And to make it worse, his team took a 3-1 series lead to Golden State before blowing it while KD played terrible and it made the NBA not that much fun for 2 years because Golden State was so overloaded with Hall of Famers

Kobe’s 2 clutch shots vs Portland at the end of regulation and 2OT to clinch the division in the last game of the season… Even Playoffs alone, Stockton sending the Jazz to the finals; Jordan vs Jazz in Game 1 of the finals; Horry vs the Kings; Marbury vs the Spurs; Fisher with 0.4 left vs the Spurs; Lebron vs Orlando; OG Anunoby in the bubble with 0.5 left. I believe Kobe had like 7 game winners in 2009-10 with 3 of them being buzzer beaters which is crazy for one season, that could have been compiled for one spot.

17:10 was my absolute low point as a Philadelphia sports fan. That shot came in the seventh game of a seven-game playoff series. Ever since, the Sixers have become the laughingstock of the NBA. They continue to miss the Eastern Conference Finals every single year despite having Joel Embiid. Damo, I do understand why you wouldn't want to pick Milwaukee after the Lillard trade, but please hear me out as I make my case for my team anyway. The thing is, Giannis is just too damn loveable not to root for. His life story is incredible (watch the Disney+ movie Rise, which is about his childhood and was produced by Giannis and his brother Thanasis). His talent on the court is such that every time I watch him play, he redefines my definition of what is humanly possible. He's the best teammate I've ever seen; there's no ego in his game, and he's just as happy to see his teammate make a shot as he is to make it himself (which is why I think the Lillard pairing is going to work so well). On top of everything, and more importantly than anything else, Giannis is just a great guy. His sense of humor is... Dad-like, and it comes across a lot. He loves to tease the local media and his teammates and coaches; his press conferences after a win are never dull. He could have made a lot more money by leaving Milwaukee on multiple occasions, both before and after winning the championship in 2021, but he has a fierce loyalty to the small-market franchise that took a chance on him. The team is loyal to him too; this offseason, when he expressed that he wanted to stay in Milwaukee as long as they were winning, the team traded for Lillard a week later. The Bucks were basically irrelevant from 2001, when they lost to Iverson's Sixers in the Eastern Conference Finals, until 2018, when Giannis led them to their first playoff series wins since that 2001 season. I know they're the favorites to win it all now, but until 5 years ago they were never even in the mix. Giannis grew up in poverty, selling pencils to put food on the table for his siblings. Even as favorites, both the Bucks and Giannis are still great underdog stories.

10:21 I know it's meant just to be a joke, but as a Suns guy I gotta point out that Kobe was not robbed by Nash. Nash very much so deserved those MVPs. Kobe wasn't even top 16 in MVP voting in 2005. In 2006, he was 4th with much fewer votes than Nash and Lebron. Nash, Lebron, and Dirk all deserved it more than Kobe imo. I know you have a huge amount of requests, but I hope you do Nash someday. The channel 'Thinking Basketball' did a great video about him a month ago. The Nash-led "Seven Seconds or Less" Suns of the mid-late 00s were super influential.
@waffles824 Жыл бұрын
He was 100% robbed, Nash wasn't even statistically the best player on his own team that year. MVP voting was done my media popularity contest, not by tangible stats, so it does not matter where he finished in media votes. Nash won due to combination of media feeling he deserved some sort of accolade due to years of being consistently good, and the bad press kobe had been in due to court charges. It was a media darling award.
@Washanuga Жыл бұрын
@@waffles824 Congratulations, you don't know what you're talking about and you don't understand basketball. Nash's impact goes far beyond basic box stats, of which Kobe's weren't even all-time impressive in 06. Casuals will just look at his ppg and think he should have been MVP. The 05 MVP was solely Nash vs Shaq. In 06, Kobe just wasn't a true contender. 06 was Nash vs Bron and to a lesser degree Dirk. Kobe nowhere in that picture. Who on the Suns was better than Nash? In 03-04 the Suns finished with 29 wins, then Nash comes and next season he takes basically that same roster to 62 wins best record in the west. 05-06 Amare missed the entire season and Nash still carried them to 54 wins. Nash is the greatest example of basic box stats not telling the full picture. His impact was immense. One of the greatest offensive minds to ever play the game. He spearheaded the most efficient offenses throughout the entire 00s nearly. 04-07 was Nash's peak. To say he didn't deserve his MVPs is just utterly dumb. Your arguments also make 0 sense. Kobe was one of the most famous and adored athletes at that time, even with the case he had. It was a different time back then. Nash also wasn't a media darling and Phx was a small market. I applaud the MVP voters for actually watching basketball those years because watching Nash is required to understand how truly exceptional he was. They got it right.
@waffles824 Жыл бұрын
@@Washanuga goofy reply. "all time impressive"...what? you expect all time stats for a yearly award? goofy. This is very simple. Nash: 18.6 Points Per Game, 3.5 Rebounds, 10.5 Assists. Kobe: 35.4 Points Per Game, 5 Rebounds, 4.5 Assists. Kobe also made the all defensive team. had the 81 point game, became 1 of only 5 players to score 2800 points in a season. Nash's few extra assists in no way make up for far worse defense, and far less points.

Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure I mentioned that in a previous comment. 🤣 13:23 - Dangit! That means you can't back my Knicks or Rangers because their technically in the same state as Nick's Bills. 16:36 - These are my top 3...Kawhi is also my number 3. Jordan is my number 2 but only because it's the first round of the playoffs although it was 1) an all-time great cele and 2) the first time he truly came alive as a leader in the playoffs. To that point he and the Bulls were good but not clutch or great. Number 1 for me isn't here. It's Robert Horry beating the Kings in a pivotal Game 4 of the 2002 Western Conference Finals (kzbin.info/www/bejne/bp-WhHiAo7CEgcUsi=e3WTMqopeE49hQYY). He misses this shot and the Kings go up 3-1 and probably go on to win the series and the championship. Damo, you should be a San Antonio Spurs fan. One of the most consistent franchises ever (Highest Win Percentage in NBA history). NBA teams over the past 25 years have seen the Spurs Franchise as the best model for a basketball franchise. They have the longest streak of playoff appearances with 22 that just ended recently (4 years ago). They have had massive all time greats such as one of the best SG's ever with George Gervin. One of the best Centers ever with David Robinson. Pretty much the unanimous greatest Power Foward ever with Tim Duncan. One of the most influential foreign basketball players ever in Manu Ginobili, and one of the best PG's ever in Tony Parker. They even developed Kawhi Leonard into an MVP level player. They also have the Greatest Coach of All Time in Greg Popovich who started with the Spurs in 1988 as an assistant coach, then went to the Warriors in 1992, then came back to the Spurs in 1996, and he has been the Head Coach here for a whopping 27 seasons (entering his 28th now), and he recently signed an extension to be here 5 more years and his contract is the largest in Head Coaching history and it is worth $80 million, and he is worth every penny. They have a total of 5 rings, all coming within that 22-year span of making the playoffs. They have built a nice young core, that includes as you know, Victor Wembanyama who is arguably the greatest NBA prospect in the history of the league, and looks to already be one of the most exciting players to watch in Basketball. They have a nice foundation to be a great team within the next few years, with Wemby leading the way, add a few more pieces around him in the very near future and they can be real contenders very soon.

You should pick teams that are not favorites, not from a very big market, and teams that built their team from ground up. No joining of superstar powers via trades and signings like the Warriors, Suns, Lakers, etc. People will just call you bandwagon. lol I would sugggest 3 teams and provide some snippets of details. 1) Sacramento Kings, if you want team that is not a contender but have a high chance of making the playoffs. They were a losing team for a very long time, 16 years. They finally cracked .500 last season. They are a relstively young team, so you can root for them for some time. 2) OKC Thunders, they are a very young team that is built via draft picks and developed. They might make the playoffs this year but has lesser chance than the Kings. 3) San Antonio Spurs, they were pretty bad. They are the 2nd worst team in the league last season. However, they drafted Wembanyama, considered to be the biggest biggets prospect since Lebron James, in the last draft. They are a team who is probably the best in development of their young players. Creating good players out of nothing and now they got a really talented kid. They won't make it to the players this season, I believe. The fun in here is, you will be witnessing and rooting for a team from the literal bottom of the ladder, while developing and building a team around a generational talent.

So many shots even, ones that arent that old left off. One example is the vince carter falling out of bounds corner three to beat the spurs in the playoffs. The list feels invalid with out plays like that.

LeBron's greatest rival of all time is Paul Pierce and the Celtics in general and teh self proclaimed goat will tell you the truth gave it to him Everytime until about 2011 2012 😅 but still y'all got to do a reaction to Paul Pierce he is legit one of the clutches players of all time

Yeah I agree. Noticed half way through that all the clips seemed to be so recent! Enjoyed the list but wish it had covered all the years

Recency bias.There are multiple buzzer beaters maybe in a night. Watch Reggie Miller end a game in the playoffs with 8 points in 9 seconds to steal a win over the New York Knicks, or Tracy McGrady's 13 points in 35 seconds.

The only problem with that guy's video is it's all subjective in his opinion. I think there's quite a few Celtics game winners that list missed especially that Paul Pierce quarter-final game winning 3-pointer right in Harrington's face Paul Pierce was talking hell of s*** to tell him exactly what he was going to do 😂 then of course all the Larry Bird game winners but besides teh Celtics this list got so many wrong

Kobe wasn’t robbed. The Lakers lost that series because the Suns were better… led by Steve nash.

A fair number of NBA players are flat Earthers or some variation of science is fake.

Kyrie isn’t actually a flat earther btw, he admitted he was wrong

These are not the greatest game winners in NBA history...maybe of the 21st century, with MJ thrown in.

Pick the Celtics.

I will say, this really wasn’t a great video for best buzzer beaters. Really only included recent shots, there’ve been some better more iconic shots over time.
@DNReacts Жыл бұрын
Yeah I agree. I enjoyed it, but wished it had included all years as the video we watched said all time. Appreciate the comment and feedback 🙏

Even God can't hit your top ten, he maybe joking but that's a stupid thing to say. Bro is he telling me the one who created everything won't be able to do that, like it is even harder then creating life not to even mention all the all things that he makes that comes into existence... See how stupid it is..... 😂 And I don't agree with the numbers
