British Science Week: Otto Brunfels - Founder of Botany

This British Science Week we are celebrating botany!
Otto Brunfels is one of the most influential botanists of all time: his 1532 Herbarum is jam-packed with striking illustrations drawn from life - many familiar to our hedgerows, fields and woodlands, including the violet, lily-of-the-valley, strawberry, cowslip, daffodil, iris and periwinkle.
Come and see Brunfels' Herbarium for yourself on Wednesday 16 March 2022 between 11:00am-1:00pm in the nave of Exeter Cathedral.
